MotorStorm: Arctic Edge

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. has announced that MotorStorm Arctic Edge, available exclusively for the PlayStation 2, is now available at retailers. Developed by bigBIG Studios, the acclaimed development team renowned for its best-selling Pursuit Force series, MotorStorm Arctic Edge introduces players to the most extreme racing environment they've yet faced.

On the bluray side of things the biggest release this week is the 70th Anniversary Collector's Edition of The Wizard of Oz. Outside of taking a stroll down the yellow brick road, they have two animated flicks for you – one featuring Monsters and Aliens, the other featuring Superman and Batman. To finish it there is a 2003 remake of a classic coming to high def for the super low price of $10 and one of the better independent films of 2009!

TripleChat writes that the popular PS3 franchise, Motorstorm, officially marks its debut on the PSP in late September - the 29th to be exact. For folks who are picking up a PSPgo on October 1, Motorstorm will be available day one from the PlayStation Store. The PS2 version has no set release date but SCEA reports that it is due later this Fall. For those who pre-order early get the incentive of an unlockable rally car for immediate use in the game. This bonus offer also applies to those who purchase it digitally within the first 30 days of launch. Gamed writes: Pursuit Force Developer BigBig Studios is currently working hard on MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, a new PS2 and PSP version of MotorStorm franchise. The game keeps the traditional MotorStorm gameplay with multiple types of vehicles.
