IGN reveals an extensive list of living legends and rookie stars to be included in MLB 2K8. The roster includes Ken Griffey Jr., The Big Hurt and Pedro Martinez, among others. IGN also lists a rookie class team for each year dating back to 1997.

2K Sports has announced Jose Reyes will appear on the cover for Major League Baseball 2K8. This will also be the first in nine years that Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter will not be appearing on the cover of a new video game.
