Unlock Everything

Press L2, R1, X, triangle, L1, L2 at the main menu.

Up, Down, X, Circle, Left, Right, Up, L2, R2.

Unlock Walter Payton
Enter legend34 as a madden code. Then go to free agents and you can sign him on your favorite team.

Unlock Mike Ditka
Enter legend89 as a madden code. Then, go to free agents and you can sign him on your favorite team.

Unlock Joe Greene
Enter JG75 as a madden code. Then, go to free agents and you can sign him on your favorite team.

Unlock Mike Singletary
Enter MS50 as a madden code. Then, go to free agents and you can sign him on your favorite team.

Avoid Delay of Games

After you choose a play if your play clock is under five seconds and your players are just approaching the line hold either R2 or L2 and it will freeze the game and play clock then when your players get set on the line you can go back to the play and hike the ball.

Unlockable Teams (AFC & NFC)

To unlock the AFC & NFC teams you must purchase the AFC & NFC madden cards by buying a madden card package.

When getting the cards you be able to use these teams in game-play.

Madden NFL 08 Hints

Hall of Fame Players on Franchise Mode

Pick a really famous H.O.F'er you want on your team. Find out (If you don't already know) his best 3 years in his career. Then go to play now and check if they have any of those teams. (Go through the historic teams). Play a game with that team, doesn't matter which team you face. When you get there pause the game and go to Coaching Strategies, then to Depth Chart. Go to the H.O.F'er you want. It will show you all his stats. Write them down. Then create a player copying those stats. Finally, put that player on your created team or an existing team.Then obviously, put that team in Franchise mode. Have fun dominating in Franchise mode.
