Poor Phil Snyder, the guy gets all excited that he’s the new voice for Jiminy Cricket, a role that could last him decades, and all he wants to do is tell the world and list that major credit on his resume. So he puts the info on his website talking about his first of probably dozens of times playing the classic conscience in the next Square Enix game, Kingdon Hearts: Recoded. But whoops, someone forgot to tell him that game hasn’t been announced yet...

KHinsider writes: Square Enix North America has opened the official website of Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories!
KHInsider: Well, previously I had mentioned a rumour about Naminé being recasted for her appearance in Re:CoM, and, I can now assure you that it is official. According to her official site, Meaghan Jette Martin will now be doing the voice of Naminé. The Disney Channel Star (who most recently appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie 'Camp Rock' as 'Tess') will be taking over the role of Naminé, replacing Brittany Snow as the previous actress for the character. No reason has been given as to why she was recasted, but fans know that this isn't the first time they have seen a beloved character being voiced by a different actor (Ansem/Xehanort was previously voiced by Billy Zane and is now voiced by Richard Epcar).
Some Re:Chain of Memories updates for you guys. First off, some casting news and rumours. Recently, Derek Stephen Prince has updated his MySpace Blog confirming his role in the game. He will be voicing the Organization Member Vexen, commenting on how he had twelve hours of recording and that he was sure fans would love to hate him. In his post, he also confirmed that Christopher Lee would be back to voice DiZ/Ansem the Wise, and that Richard Epcar would also reprise his role as Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. Among those official voice actor confirmations, there are also some rumours floating around, via Wikipedia, that Josh Keaton and Tara Platt would be voicing Zexion and Larxene, respectfully. But, due to there being no source to these claims listed, this should be treated as purely a rumour until an official announcement regarding the casting of the characters is made. Also, IGN and a few other gaming sites have updated with English Screenshots of Re:Chain of Memories, seen below. Enjoy!
