Complete Kong level

When bats attack, switch in to fury mode (keep pressing triangle) Kong's power will double its strength, making it easier to defeat the grey bats. Make sure you switch when little bats attack or grey bat will harm you.

How to kill a V-Rex while its at full he

Entry Location:
Any V-Rex battle

First run up to a V-Rex. Then press circle and hold, Kong will hold the rex in a head lock press Triangle and keep tapping circle,x or Triangle rapidly. Kong will look like he is trying to get off with the Rex but really he is riping out his tounge or eye like in the one on one battle in the movie. This will weaken the Rex. then press either Circle or x and he will use his killer moves such as the jaw breaker or the bone breaker. Give it a try it's well ace.

More Effective Spears and Bones

Spear on Fire

Pick up a spear from an animal carcass or a spear placed in the ground. Walk up to any kind of fire while holding the spear and press the "R1" button. The end of the spear will be on fire. You can then back away enemys by pressing "R1" or throw your spear by holding down "L1" then pressing "R1". If you want to aim before throwing your spear, hold "L1" press the right analog stick. You will then be in "Zoom" mode. Then you can throw your spear.

Small Dinosaur Tactics

Use the following trick to kill a smaller dinosaur, such as the Velociraptor. Throw a spear directly in its neck or head. The spear doesn't need to be on fire.

Alternate Way To Pass T-Rex Chase

When you start this, you should be around a campfire with Hayes and Carl. Follow them out to the bridge, where you will see your fellow comrads. Unfortunately, your reunion will be ruined by the T-Rex as he eats one of your friends. When he roars at you, turn around and run through the pillars. Hayes will tell you to distract the Rex while he opens the door. Normally, you can just shoot him to get his attention, but who wants to risk their own life? While messing around, I found that you can actually take control of one of the turning pillars by walking up to Hayes and pressing R. He'll step off and take his defensive position against the T-Rex. You can continue to open the door as Hayes holds him off, however, the Rex DOES still have a chance of eating him, so you have to be careful. Once the door is open, run through and run all the way to the pillars and hide behind them. If you hide back all the way in the water, the Rex won't see you, but he'll try to smell you. Eventually, he'll just pass. There you have it! A way to beat the Rex without using any ammo!

"Reloading" your spear

When you have a sniper rifle or any knid of gun, reaload it. If you press the R1 button right in the middle of realoading, it really looks like your reloading your spear

Spears Glitch

On the level with Anne getting kidnapped and you are tied up, pause the game and hold L1+R1, then press down, circle, up, square, down, down, up, and up. Then the cheat menu should appear at the main menu. Enter lance 1nf (this code uses 1, not i) to unlock unltd. spears. Next, since you cannot move, hold L1 and a spear should show up in your hand. Then, just throw it at Ann and it should stick to her. Repeat this many times. It looks hilarious! You can even hit Kong when he appears!
