To get Musashi play through the game as the East until mission 5. When you get to mission 5, beat it without losing a unit or a commander losing a duel.(You also cannot have lost a mission before>)

When you beat East's section of the game you get to view the war route you took from the main menu, you also get to play as the west in your nest new game. When you beat that part you get the choose battle mode on the main menu. You can play any battle that you have done and choose to be the east or the west.

Never Lose a Battle

To never lose a major battle here's what to do. During the war council when you place your units on the field place them all right by each other with the commander in back and don't attack wait for the enemy to. Then bombard them with special maneuvers and then you can surround them and for get to use rally's to get more zeal then once all there units are gone except for the commander and a few backup units you can either use an army attack if you have most of your troops left or if you only have a few more units don't attack wait for the time limit to run out it may take awhile AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A HIGHER PERCENTAGE THAN THE ENEMY IF YOU WAIT THE BATTLE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!this may not work for everyone keep that in mind but i can win any major battle on the hardest mode with it.

Easy Way in Harima

This might take along time but anyway to beat harima easier you must have kobayakawa [sekigahara that defects ishida and joins you]
then when you are choosing officers then it should say kobayakawa when you start. up 2 that point put the officers that have the highest men sub them with the lowest men then start the council. When you r at the point where you set your own men leave fukashima in the spot he is then bring nagakuroda next to fukashima then that's the part when you start putting your leader, kobayakawa,and hide tokugawa with nagakuroda and fukashima and when u start the battle click on hold position and move naga and fukashima t the same spot. if you click on hold position they will refuse but naga. Then make sure you put ban and whoever else would defect. make sure you do not kill the people that will defect then without losing a unit, if you defeat all the officers that have shimazu on that side then move everyone even if you have the people that defect move everyone to attack the last survivors.
