Jak III Hints
Get Precursor Orbs!
Entry Location:
Haven City
You need a jet board to get the most out of this hint. Go to Haven city and there are three towers on both sides of the water. Keep going around either middle tower until you see a pipe stuck on the tower
Now jump on it and at the top of the pipe the wall will slope, but a bit further up is a small ledge where you can stand up. Jump on to it and keep looking for another pipe like the first and jump on it. Sometimes a pipe may be too high even for a double jump so use a big jump, starting from a crouch.
Keep jumping up pipes like this, until the last one there will be a sloping wall above you. Jump on that and you will be on the second level of the tower! Now repeat and look for pipes again to jump higher until you are on the third and final floor of the tower.
Now wander round and enjoy the view! But if you are here for the orbs, listen to me! Go around and destroy the boxes around the floor. You will mainly get health and gems, but you will also get 4 orbs. Now grab your jetboard. There are some electricity lines, get on and grind on these and you will get lots of orbs. You will grind to other towers where you can find even more good stuff!

Tough Puppy: Given to you by Kleiver. Used 4 first race.
Sand Shark: Used by Kleiver in first race also used to take out Wastland metal heads and rescue wastelanders.(related to Dust Demon)
Dune hopper: Used to get to monk temple Has excellent jumping ability.
Gila Stomper: Only used by Sig to take out metalheads can also be used to get inside metalhead nest.
Dust Demon: 15 Precursor orbs (also known as the king of the desert!)
Heat Seeker: 15 Precursor orbs
Desert Screamer: 20 Precursor orbs. (fastest veichle)!
RAM ROD: used by Damas to destroy dark sattelites has a flamethrower and cow catcher.

Drive in 1st person view
When in any car except the Leaper or Jet-Board, press R3 for 1st person view.

19 or 20 Precursor Orbs
Go to spargus city and go to the arena (not inside). Go in all view mode by pressing R3. Look for a rail with 1 or 2 precursor orbs. Follow it and go left. When it comes to a stop go to the nearest house on the right. Go in the allyway and punch the bags. Collect the precursor orb that you got. Then go up the ladder. Double jump with a spin kick to get to the other side again collect it. Get on your jet-board by pressing L2. Jump on the rail and grind away. When the track comes to an end jump to the next rail below. Hold 0 to grind. It will come to an end again so jump and grind again. You will start to go up. Jump and grind again. If you do not land on the top use light flight to get up. Good luck on the rest of the game!

Green Scarf
Collect all 600 Precursor Orbs and the colour of Jak's scarf will change to green. (Hardly seems worth it.)

Pro Fly
When in light Jak mode( and have achieved the flight power) begin to fly after your in the air and have flapped upward while your coming down quickly tap circle this should use the shield power( if you can see the shield clearly, your holding circle too long) after you have used the shield it is possible to have a flap that can make you go as high as the first one. WARNING - If you go too high the game freaks out so don't try to fly over walls that your not supposed to go beyond and stuff like that.

Half-Naked Girl
Go to the Naughty Otsel (the bar in Haven City). Walk in the door. Turn 180 degrees and look above the door. There is a poster of Daxter and a poster of a half-naked girl.

Jak III Glitches
Vulcan Fury Glitch
Entry Location:
Game Play
This could happen anywhere in the game. First you summon Light Jak's Flash Freeze, take out the Vulcan Fury, and get it to rapid fire. But before the Flash Freeze stimes out. Stop shooting and wait till the Flash Freeze stops. When it does you just shoot 1 bullet and lots of bullets fall out of the gun.

Super Flight
After buying the cheat "Infinate Light Jak" go to Haven Port. next go to the top of one of the two towers by the transport to the desert. Now turn into "Light Jak" (He should have wings.). And then double jump so that you are flying and then quickly press the O button and the X repeatedly. Keep pressing that until you get past the wall check point. Then you will be able to fly until you fall into a pit. To get back swim through the wall. (You can't swim through the wall from the inside.)

Disappearing World
You need Jak flight for this. First, drive to the Precursor Temple with the Dune Hopper. Then go in & climb to the top (yes it is still possible). When you are at the top turn around & turn right a little bit, then fly to the ledge you are facing. When you get there, fly over the top & fall to the bottom. You should now be back on the beach. Now try to go back to the base & the whole world should be gone. If you go in the water at the edge you should fall through & die.

Death by Glitch
For this to work you need to have Jak flight. First, go to the Precursor temple using the Dune Hopper. Next, go in & climb to the top (yes it is still possible). You need Jak flight to get over the big gaps. When you are at the top, turn around & fly to the bit of the ledge on the other side. Now fly to the bit where the ledge ends & there are rocks. Fly over the rocks & into the waterfall. If you did it right, you should land on a rock half way down. Now fly down to the bottom. The music should change, & the Dune Hopper will have disappeared. Now fly over the gap & run to the next one on the beach. There should be a big bit of sand that seems darker than the rest. Jump into it & you should fall into perpetual darkness & die. Also, when you are at the top of the tower, if you jump off you instantly die.

Running on Water
First collect 100 orbs then buy the invulnerability cheat. Go to the desert town and go to the ocean. Hop on a lizard that flies and if you turn on the invulnerable cheat, the lizard should run on water.

Ride in Zoomer Upside-down
Entry Location:
The port on Jak 3.
At the port, get the largest zoomer park it over the water, turn into dark jak, and do a dark slam on your zoomer, it might turn upside-down. If not, keep trying. If so, you can ride through the port with Jak's face in the water!
