Capcom announces Harvey Birdman game

Last night at a press event in San Francisco, Capcom announced that developer High Voltage (known for Family Guy) is working on a PS2 and PSP game based on Cartoon Network's Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. Capcom didn't reveal many details about the game, except that it will be a story driven adventure, which we assume means that it will derive concepts from Capcom's popular Phoenix Wright series.

If you aren't familiar with Harvey Birdman - it airs on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and chronicles the exploits of Birdman as he defends classic cartoon characters like The Jetsons in high profile cases. We sincerely hope that High Voltage can successfully translate the show's erratic humor and constant non sequiturs into a playable game.
