Boss Guitar Battle
If you want to beat Slash or Tom Morello, the easy way just fail about 4 or 5 times. A message will appear on the screen telling you that you have failed. Then just select "Wuss Out" and it will let you skip to the encore. It wont work if your trying to beat Lou, but it will against Slash or Tom Morello.

Enter these codes on the guitar controller at the Cheats screen within the Options menu. Select Enter Cheat and a graphic of the guitar controller will appear on the screen. You must press the strum bar as you push each button or combination of buttons, as if you’re playing notes in the game. There is no time limit, so take your time – entering these chords is more about accuracy.. The game will tell you when you’ve entered each code correctly. If there are two or more colors listed, hold both/all listed buttons and strum them as a chord.

Easy Way To Fight Lou
When you fight Lou, he always waits a split second before deploying battle power. This will give you a chance to see what he has. Most of the time its a lefty flip, but on rare occasions he will use the whammy. If you are using the whammy when he activates it, it will automatically go away.

Easy Battle Note Hits
When you battle either a boss or another player. Instead of pulling up the wammy bar you can just press the select button. This will help you not miss any notes and get you more rock points.

Can't Beat the Devil?
If you can't beat the devil aka "lou" heres what you do...
BROKEN STRING: when he uses this attack on you take your strumming hand and push that button as fast as you can.
LEFTY FLIP: when he uses lefty flip (which most people lose on) all you have to do is get a mirror and position it so you can see the reflection of the screen. The reflection is backwards so you see it as normal until it switches back.
WHAMMY: prepare your hand on the whammy bar and when he uses it whammy as fast as you can.
AMP OVERLOAD: sometimes in certain times of the song you and the devil have the same notes, all you have to do is look at his screen.

Battle Lou in Expert Mode With Easy Mode
When the battle with Lou starts at the end of the game on Expert mode, strum without holding any frets until you lose. At the "Game Over" screen, select "Tutorial". Pick the tutorial for Guitar Battle, and play through it until the "Lesson Complete" message appears. As soon as the next fret board appears, pause the game, and exit to return to the lesson menu. Then, press Red to return to the list of songs. The battle with Lou will be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's notechart will now be set to Easy mode. Note: Your notechart will still be in Expert mode, but his will be in Easy mode.
