No-one seems sure of the origin of the leak but today ... » Read More

Rockstar Games have today launched a pair of spoof websites for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. is a parody of a cult based around 12 tenets, including "We all come from the same tree - FACT!" and, our personal favourite, "Dinosaurs are a lie that people believe because they are weak - FACT!"However, it's Rockstar's - homepage for Madchester pioneer Maccer - that's of more interest. The Maccer character is a thinly disguised caricature of Shaun Ryder who, you may remember, was heavily rumoured ... » Read More

You may remember that we recently ran the . What you probably didn't notice, though, was one of Rockstar's trademark puns making a fleeting appearance as a plane flies over the Vinewood sign towards Los Santos. Surely Rockstar North have got better things to be doing? Honestly, games developers, eh?Meanwhile, in slightly more serious San Andreas ... » Read More

These nine new shots of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas depict various facets of the new prominence that food has taken on in Rockstar's follow-up to the awesome GTA: Vice City.Main character Carl Johnson has to eat to stay in shape as a lean, mean fighting machine. So. Now we know. San Andreas is NOT Los Angeles, it's a whole state. Los Santos, on the other hand is, to all intents and purposes, LA. The game's two other cities, San Fierro and Las Venturra are based on San Francisco and Las Vegas respectively. There'll be countryside between the three main areas, each of which is roughly the same size as the whole of Vice City. Big, in other words. It's a direct reflection of GTA's massive impact that the release of three screenshots can shoot it straight to the top of the E3 agenda, despite the fact that it's not actually due to be on the show floor.
