Don't be fooled by the serious look of this upcoming brawler. We got more play time with an early version of God Hand and it's as much about punchlines as it is about punches, infused with the sort of wacky humor we'd expect from the creators of Viewtiful Joe. A couple of months ago, when we first got a chance to check out God Hand, we weren't so sure. The game's M.O. is to mix off-the-wall humor with down-and-dirty fighting. Yeah, it's from the same studio that kicked out the awesome comic-look actioner Viewtiful Joe, but everybody makes mistakes. We're happy to report that things are looking up, though. Looking at God Hand, it's hard to believe that what you're seeing is from the same mind that brought us the Resident Evil series. There's no horror here, no deadly zombies and the combat is heavily tilted towards the humorous side of the fence. Yet, for all its absurdity, God Hand carries a certain beat 'em-up appeal that is difficult to ignore.
