Then you start with a team, like Auxerre, Nantes but not a top team, a good team. In the mode "transfers market", where you buy players and sell them. If you want a new player, look I the American League (MLS). They have many very good players. Just take a look. There are not top players, but good players.
Do Special Moves
When you want to do cool moves with your player move the right analog stick around or you can move it side to side to do other moves
Special Cups
If you go onto the tournament mode and then select any tournament when you get into the part where you must select a team you can replace a team with any other team. so for example you could, in the Scottish cup swap Hibernian for real Madrid and so on and therefore have an amazing tournament, you could even do a world cup!
Recovery For the Injured
Do you get annoyed with injuries so you have to change your team? Well worry no more because this is what you do. select your injured player and put them on the subs bench, then play the game and whenever you want you can bring your injured player on but they wont be injured how about that
Be Rich in Division 2
First swap a load of great players on to a division 3 team. Save it. Then click on Load Career and keep going right until it says load squads. Load your new improved team up and straight away start a new career, choose the team you changed and play your season. If u have made the right swaps u should easily win the league and both cups. Then u will be promoted with a load more money.
Score From Corners
When you have a corner, select Driven and then press Square. Move the player in for 3 secs and then run forward. Power a header towards the goal and GOAL!!! This works 7/10 times.

How To Skill
When you are on the ball hold down R2, this will make you walk. Whilst doing this move the R3 stick around in various ways to perform skills, e.g. Spinning on the ball and step-overs.

In Career mode, every season you play gets easier and easier. This is because such teams as Arsenal & Chelsea become relegated and teams like Rotherem and Swansea are promoted.

Unlock kits
Go onto the ea sports bio in the my fifa 2004 option and upload a bio this way the more time you spend playing the game (and other ea titles) the more kits you unlock

You have to beat the team to unlock there kit. If you beat everyone in that league you get there 3rd kit.
To Unlock Team Shirts
When you complete all the goals for each season you will unlock various shirts.

When you first do a career mode you will notice (if you go a big club) that there isn't a champions league. Don't panic though because if you finish in the top four in England you will qualify for it in your second season.
