If you find yourself not winning matches, check the fitness/fatigue of your players: if they are tired they won't perform to their full capability.

If you are out side the box double tap O for a more powerful shot.

Fitness Recover Faster

If your players are feeling tired in season all you have to do is save your career and then load the career back up. Your players fitness should have risen. Note: It has only worked for me a couple of times.

5 Star Teams Without Unlocking Them

Before beginning your manager career make sure to edit the starting lineup of your chosen team to replace all starters with the bench and reserve players. This will change the "star" rating of your club, and allow you to choose that club as you begin your managerial career (Man Utd, Real Madrid, etc). Once you start your career you can substitute the starters back into the squad. As a warning, you will not make enough money to make it through your first season (but this is the same even with 4 star teams) unless you loan or sell most of your good players - EA's way of making you choose a terrible team to start AGAIN.

Get Points to Spend in Fan Shop Quickly

If you want to get points to spend in fan shop quickly just crate a tournament with two teams in in knockout format, win and then you'll get 500 points. Do this as many times as you want so you can unlock stuff.

5 Star Manager Mode Teams

Not like the other FIFA games you have to buy good teams instead of doing well in a few seasons. At the fan shop you can buy all 5 star teams in a package called 'Career Teams' it cost 5,000 points and is the most expensive item so if you want this, buy it when you can.

More Money while aving a 99 Skill Team!

Manager Mode

While playing in manager mode (15 yrs career), do not spend your start-up fund! In fact, renew your best players' (those you really want to keep) contracts. You can pay them very little, and extend it for 5 yrs. They'll take it.

SECOND way of getting a low salary payable, is to scout for players ... good ones duh! However, be sure you sign them for a contract LESS than 5 yrs. After you bought him, go straight to his contract, and follow the same path: renew it, pay him as little as possible while extending his contract for 5 yrs.

By the way, if you want to make the contract even more appealing (they'll find anyway, but just in case), you can give them a percentage bonus based on they playing position.

Easy Points (5,000 points)

To get easy points go to game modes and select create tournament. Then choose knock-out with 2 teams. Next choose either a 4 and 1/2 star team (Celtic) or a 5 star team(Barcelona). Then choose a 2 star team (O.Pirates in the rest of the world/Livingstone). Go the 5 star team and quick sim it the game. The 5 star team will win the game and you will get 500 points. Keep doing this until you have 5,000 points or more. Once you do, go to the fan shop in My FIFA 06 and buy 5 star career teams and try it in manager mode.

Can't do Crosses?

if you are struggling to put a good cross in then when you get to the position you want to put a cross in press L1+triangle it will put in a cross low so you can volley it.

Drive Cross

On the edge of the box tap square 2 times to drive a low hard cross (75% work because of blocks).

Ronaldiho's Signature Move

You can do Ronaldinho's signature move by moving the right analog to the north east side but not all the way. Just a little the move it to the north west side but now move it all the way. An there you have the move. With this you can embarrass your friends or computers.
