Eagle Eye Golf

Hot Shots on a Budget

The graphics are even similar, right down to the effects used when you hit a particularly good drive. And while the characters in HSG have always been just this side of ugly, Eagle Eye Golf goes that extra mile and offers up a bunch of extremely generic-looking anime-style characters, complete with a very limited character editor.

The only other standout feature of Eagle Eye Golf is the course editor, which sounds way more exciting than it really is. What you can do here is morph the elevation levels of each hole on the included courses, as well as add new obstacles. It’s a decent way to slightly extend the life of this otherwise brief game. It’s really fun to make, say, a bowl-shaped green with a steep rise, and then challenge your friends to putt their way out of it. Still, it doesn’t make EAG worth your hard-earned dollars.
