Dragon Quest VIII Hints

Yangus's (Think) Best weapon

You need the bird soul stone thing first and when you are flying look for the tower and left of it should be a big cliff thing and you can land on it you always start at the top though and it has every type of slime on it including the metal king slime and when you start to explore there are a few passage ways, but you should eventually, reach the bottom. You'll see a gap through a gap in the rocks and should see a chest. Open the chest you get a weird, yet powerful, axe which is useful for fighting metal king slimes.

Devil's Tail Hint

When using the Devil's Tail in alchemy, it can end bad. But, there's a simple trick to it. If the devil's tail is one of three items, it'll end in a strong item. If it's one of two, the other item will end up cursed and making you severely weak.

Secret Armor for Jessica

After you get Jessica, you can enter her room. In the upper level, there are some wardrobes. Inside one of them is teh clothes she was wearing before she changed. Later in the game if you combine this with a cloak of evasion it will make a powerful armor.

Great Alchemy Weapons and items

Entry Location:
Alchemy Pot

To get the great weapons and items that will ultimatly help you against rhapthorne and the dagovian lord.

Divine Bustier- get a dangerious bustier by collecting enough (i think 99) mini medals or get it at the holy dais when you go to fight the dragovian lord, and a shimmering dress. (great armour for jessica).

Metal King Sheild- get the runious shield (after you get the godbrid soulstone go to the dark ruins its on a mountain part) pot of saints ashs and a piece of orchlechum (heros best shield).

Metal King Armour-Liquid metal armour, king slime crown, and a piece of orchelchum.

Megaton Hammer- A big hammer/club, a big axe and a piece of orchelchum. (yangus good weapon)

A Great God- Cheirons bow, eros' bow, and a great bow (good weapon for angelo)

Sun crown- A skull helm (fly to emmpychu by godbirds eryie), saints ashs (best for jessica).
