PS2 - Devil May Cry - 1UP: Hideki Kamiya Profile 1UP interviewed Kamiya at the time, and have rarely seen a game developer so happy. He was cracking inside jokes with other Platinum staff, making bold claims about his game, and seemed more interested in having fun than doing traditional bullet point interviews. It was a flashy event, complete with fireworks over the ocean, made particularly meaningful for Kamiya because just short of 15 years before that, he applied for a job at Sega and got turned down.

PS2 - Devil May Cry - Capcom All-Time Sales Data Capcom updated their all-time sales data at their investor relations site. Notably, two PSP games are in the top 10 (both Monster Hunter) and Devil May Cry 4 weighs in at 8th.

PS2 - Devil May Cry - Most wanted future Capcom releases A recent poll on the official Capcom website suggests that gamers are most looking forward to Resident Evil 5. Out of the five options to choose from, RE5 received over 50% of the total votes. Devil May Cry 4 was second with just over 20% of the votes followed by Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii with 17%.

PS2 - Devil May Cry - Capcom and Koei launch Japanese PS3 offensive Several of Capcom and Koei's PlayStation 3 titles will be playable at next week's Tokyo Game Show, while Capcom has also spoken of new game announcements.

With expectation starting to build ahead of Tokyo's annual showcase, Capcom has pledged 12 demo units of Devil May Cry 4, while Koei aims to have playable versions of some of its PS3 titles on-hand, likely to include Fatal Inertia (a launch title), Bladestorm, Ni-Oh and Mahjong Taikai IV.

Koei will also be demonstrating Samurai Warriors Wave for Nintendo Wii, while Capcom will be offering hands-on time with Xbox 360 exclusive Lost Planet, but with PlayStation 3 making its public playable debut in Japan the Sony console is understandably the focus.
