[PS2] The Square Enix action adventure shines through

For the first time, the World of Mana (as Square Enix has dubbed the franchise they've let simmer for the last decade) is getting the full 3D treatment in the action-oriented fantasy epic, Dawn of Mana.

A genuine 'sequel' to the original 2D title Secret of Mana, Dawn of Mana tells the story of where the Sword of Mana came from and the ancient legend behind the Mana Tree itself. It sounds a little more like a prequel to us, but after witnessing the vividly coloured characters and incredibly interactive environment, we're not going to argue.
