Rockstar has finally released a trailer of its controversial PS2 school game, Bully, and it comes across as a humorous and tongue-in-cheek adventure game rather than the epitome of everything evil a lot of people are trying to make it out to be.
The game follows the exploits of Jimmy Hopkins as he tries to get by at Bullworth Academy, an American private boarding school full of the typical array of nerds, jocks, flirts and demonic teachers that exist in any Hollywood teen movie.
Bully has been dogged by controversy since it was first announced at E3 in 2005 mainly because of the title. Anti-bullying groups have campaigned against it, even when little was known about the game.
There was speculation that the title would not be released but Rockstar has now confirmed that the game will be released for PS2 in the UK in late October.
The game has not been age-rated yet so it should be interesting to see what happens; at the moment it looks more St Trinian's than GTA.
