Eidos to bring more block people to tons of consoles

Eidos announced today that it has a new Lego Bionicle game slated for fall 2006, and they've tapped the team behind the incredibly successful Lego Star Wars to get it done. Set in the Bionicle universe, Bionicle Heroes charges you to play as a hero that has crossed over from the real world to save plastic block warriors in a third-person style adventure.

Each Bionicle hero has a special talent for you to master as you progress through the game's challenges. Only one screen has been released for this title so far, but we'll be angling for more next week from E3. Bionicle Heroes will be available next fall on PlayStation 2, PC, Nintendo DS and GameCube.
