Ubisoft's Beyond Good & Evil is one of those games that had all the elements of a classic, but instead found itself doomed to an eternity of appearing in "Top 10 games no one played" lists. Now, seven years since its release, Ubisoft is granting Jade and her pals another shot at stardom with the release of an HD remastered version that received its first teaser trailer today...

Is Ubisoft reprinting Beyond Good & Evil to hype up Beyond Good & Evil 2? According to one of their flyer's, taken by Firestorm on Neogaf, customers can preorder Beyond Good & Evil for the PS2 for $9.99. If true, now would be the right time to pick up this rare gem for those who didn't.

Ubisoft has just officially confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is on the way at it's UbiDays event in Paris.

It was a brief unveiling, giving away no gameplay specifics or even which platforms it's headed to, Ubi only showing a short trailer of series heroine Jade in an open desert doing... nothing much.

The sequel to Beyond Good & Evil, almost unequivocally one of the most missed games of the last generation, has been in production for over a year according to the main lead. Ubisoft has yet to say anything about it though.
