Getting down with Crispy

In the beginning of the game when get your scanner go up to Crispy and scan him.

Mutant Refill

On any level you find a smoldering body, walk over to it look down and press X.You will here a hissing noise and your mutant life should be refilling.

Get Past The Turrets on Buried Secrets

message: In Checkpoint 1 on the Buried Secrets level you have to open the gate. This could be hard because there are turrets and Black Ops troops firering at you. First, kill al the Black Ops troops. Second, run towards the right turret. Turn right once you are next to the turret and keep walking. You will see a ladder. Climb up it and walk across the bridge. Third, jump down into the area where you see a computer. There will be a Black Ops troop in there (if you didn't kill him before). Push Square by the computer and run up the ramp behind you. By pressing the computer you have unlocked the gate. Run through the gate for a new check point and objective.

Kill Greys Fast

When a grey has it's shield on, you can take it out way faster if you have both alien technology guns on you with ammo. As soon as a grey appears, get out the plasma launcher. Fire that directly at the grey, this will also kill any black ops too, When the plasma is done killing all of the black ops, all of it's power will focus on the grey's shield. As soon as this happens, go to your previous weapon and start firing rapidly at the shield. Repeat this as many times as needed to destroy the shield, which is usually 2 times. If your plasma launcher is empty, the SMP's work the second best.

Kill Greys Faster

To defeat Grays that use shields, mutate and fire parasites at them. It will bring down the shields faster than any other weapon in the game.

Fighting Black Ops

Once you get to the part of the game where there are Black Ops agents you should switch to your mutant form to shoot parasites at them from any distance and they will follow the agents until they are caught as long as you have mutagen. It is an easier way of going through the game and not being annoyed by them.

How to Get Two Meson Cannons

In multi-player go to the mission MELTDOWN. There is a glass bridge that leads from base to base. On one side of the bride you will see two big pipes. Jump your way down to the bottom. There you will find two meson cannons. But you must hurry out of there or else you will burn to death.

Alien Grenade Upgrade in Life Or Death

Search the dead soldier in one of the elevators where Cole starts the level to find a small key. Use it to open the small lockers in the first power conduit pit to find a databank item. It will upgrade the alien grenade so that it will track targets.

Easy Replenish of Mutagen

The easiest way to replenish mutagen is to melee mutated enemies or any other enemy.

Defeating the Super Beast

When fighting the Super Beast, rather than running straight at him, run around in a circle. When he gets near an explosive barrel, shoot it. It does more damage then the BBG. Watch out for his plasma shooting arm as well. When you finish, Edgar will talk to you, and you get to see him.

Lies of the Past Secret

On Lies of the Past chapter 4, there will be a setting of the moon. Defeat all the enemies and start shooting cameras and other props. In the background you will see the replica of the earth. Try shooting it- I won't spoil what happens.

Moon Landing Conspiracy

When you reach "Lies of the Past: Checkpoint 4", you will ascend in an elevator. Exiting the elevator, you will see a replica of the Moon's surface, a model of the U.S. space suit, and a shuttle the United States used to reach the Moon. This is in reference to the Moon Landing Conspiracy, claiming that the U.S. never actually reached the Moon, and faked the landing to beat the Russians in the space race. Additionally, go to a building behind the crane operations and scan a top secret file. Go back to the secrets in the campaign menu and play Doctor Cray's diary to hear him say something similar to "Man certainly has been to the moon but the horrors of the alien life form that reside there have never been revealed to the public." This refers to the theory that there is alien life form on the moon and that the government chose to hide it from the public.

Sharks with Machine-gun Heads

In the level "The Grays" proceed into the 4th room in the level, where you can see the monorail you entered the level from out the window. Push the computer console there and it will say "Lifter Engaged". Make your way back outside to the monorail, you can now stand on it. Run all the way to the back of it and you will be warped to a weird room with sharks that have machine guns attached to their heads. If you kill all 3 sharks (I used the BBG, about 7 bursts each, but keep your distance from them and use the laser to aim.) On your way back out of the room look to your left and right and there will some goodies on these blue plates. Once you return through the portal back to the bay area, do not try to get back on the monorail, or you'll be instantly killed!

Free SMP Ammo

In the level were you have to kill the gray in the shield back up to get full health. Then just plaster him. Then run through the door. When u kill all the little blobs go back into the room were the gray was. The shotgun ammo will come back once and the smp will keep respawning.Get your full load then take it to the alien scum!

Scan yourself

Push the right analog stick all the way down (only if controls are not inverted, if it is, then push it up) until your scanner stops moving. (It would look as if you ar lookin at your own feet). Now start to scan yourself. It will give you some information about Cole. Plus you get to hear him say wierd things.

Getting in the Armory

When searching for the security card, you need to find the severed arm of the guard then use it to activate one of the two hand activated security panels, leading to the armory. As soon as you place the arm on the one of the panels move to the other panel and press the action button and search the shelves for the L1 card.

How to unlock the Nitro blaster

To unlock this weapon, beat the first Main enemy (boss). Look around once you beat It. The Nitro blaster is on the floor by the wall where a dead mans body lays. Once you found it you can use it as many times as you want, however it takes away your health a bit every time you use it. This weapon can freeze any alien except the big ones. It will freeze them by shooting out a Nitro gas freezer. Once you freeze an alien (it's frozen for about 35 seconds) You must shoot it with a different weapon or else it will dry up and you might be screwed. This weapon freezes them so fast you can freeze five aliens 5 seconds at the same time( depending on their size).

Unlocking Secret Tapes

Scanning all five databank items in each stage yields one secret. Completing the game yields one secret.
