Bizarre Creations has released a whole grid of new shots of Project Gotham Racing 3 as part of the Xbox 360 summit in Japan.

With 80 different customisable cars and tracks, PGR3 already looked like a wonderful racer, but now the team has revealed that every car will comprise a huge 40,000 exterior and 40,000 interior polygons.

Which, just to give you some idea of scale, is 70,000 more per motor than the already pretty tidy-looking Project Gotham Racing 2.

Project Gotham Racing 3 will be released in the US for Xbox 360 this winter
