I really love this game and the castleroid series! I love how the character develops and learn new things in order to easily access some areas which are difficult as well.

and the music, damn, there are only 2 games that satisfy me this much when it comes to music: FF series and Castlevania series!

I can't believe the difficulty of this game! It's so ridiculous! I have already activated the invincibility cheat and yet it's still TOO hard to beat. I like the graphics and music and i wish there'd be a SOTN remake that looks like this. But in the meantime i'll stick with my DS castlevanias. Now i'm really thankful I've got both PSP and DS.

I'd rather see konami remake symphony of the night the same way they did dracula x chronicles. 3d graphics, same gameplay.

Ahmmm, first! I've had this game for several months now but only started playing it. It's really really nice and the graphics are quite refreshing! I think I'm gonna like this better that Ecclesia.

Oh my! I couldn't believe I could play this with arcade quality settings on my aging GeForce 7300GT! And this game is much simpler (like SF2) but definitely better than the SF3 and SFA3! Now, NAMCO, how about you come into your senses and release a PC version of Tekken as well? Oh, I forgot.. some PS3 fanboys might cry if you do!

Oh my! Did you just write this using your blackberry while on coffee break or taking a dump??? When I was young I used to "mindlessly" hack and slash through this game and ENJOYED it! Sometimes when you put too much effor in the story and gameplay you actually forget that there are people who just enjoy beating the crap out of mindless numbers of enemies. You didn't even imagine how kids these days would love to have a taste of the early 90's games. Tsk tsk. Such a poor review... or should we say you were just trying to meet your review quota for the week.
