I can tell Gamesradar hasn't played Amnesia: The Dark Descent yet. Over and over people will tell you to play it because it is by far the scariest game ever made. Every single scene on this list can be outdone by the water part in Amnesia, trust me, its a MUST play for any horror game fan.
This is no doubt the scariest experience, no not even game, but experience, i have ever played. You MUST play this game and review it gamesradar, it is unbelievable.
I got my pc custom built for around 700 3 years ago, and upgraded it once for around 100. So in 3 years, i have spent 800 dollars on a gaming pc that i probably wont upgrade for another few years, along with around 20 games for another 1000 (yeesh). and if i bought a console, it would be this: (lets say you got the original ps3) 600 bucks, plus 20 games that are 10 bucks more than the pc counterparts (an extra 200 bucks), and then because i need a pc anyways, i would have to spend 800 dollars on a regular pc, oh and the 50 dollars a year thing for xbox live? another 150 dollars. Then in 2 more years, another console comes out and i have to shell out another 600+ dollars. AND, considering how most people dont only get one console, they get two usually,it would cost ANOTHER 600 dollars. Now tell me, which one is cheaper again?
ehhh, i mean, portal is a great game, but in all honesty i think you guys put it there because portal 2 had just come out so your liking of the series was at its peak. The best games in my opinion? 1. Half Life 2 2. Bioshock 3. MGS series 4. Final Fantasy VII 5. World of Warcraft (for sheer popularity and addictiveness) 6. Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Hahaha, I mean, if he ACTUALLY does play it, which i doubt he will, he will probably get more hillary clintonish in the way that theres boobs around 5 minutes into the game.
Wow, Ubisoft needs to get out the Ezio thing because its beginning to show that their just milking the AC2 thing, except now its becoming noticeable. There isnt much their gonna add here, i can tell, but its probably gonna get amazing reviews either way
Truthfully it doesn't look THAT realistic. If you want to make a realistic zombie game there is one thing you have to get down pat, the blood. And really the blood splatter looks ridiculous, and to make it feel like its a true, brutal impact with the melee weapons, you have to make it seem bloody. However i love the stamina idea, making it impossible to simply rush in and kill everything in sight with a machine gun.
Lol? I'm glad to see an indie pc game like Penumbra be on this list, but its spiritual sucessor, Amnesia: Dark Descent, has been called one of the scariest games of all time just because of ONE chase scene. The water part near the beginning is hard even to watch because its so unbelievably intense, GamesRadar should play that sometime :P
amazing game in all rights, i love the explosions and how the battles in cities, where in the begginging its just a regular town but by the end... there is almost nothing there but a huge pile of debris
