i guess you dont believe Diablo 3 will come out in 2010 - thats fair, but if you think starcraft 2 will make 2010 i think you gotta go for Diablo 3 as well
mabey an article about walrus superiorty?
no?
whatever i dont care, i dont need your petty approval to know walrus' are the greatest animals to ever grace this planet
hey, dont say there arnt any good superhero games, look at Marvel Ultimate alliance and x-men origins wolverine(not excellent), they were pretty good games,
this is deeper than x-man wolverine, but i dont think its deep enought. it will get great reviews but no one will buy it
You of course include yourselves when you refer to "we", because your just as guilty as every one of us.
you say you hate special additions but you did a feature on the GOW 2 lancer,
you do hate store exclusives though, you guys say that you hate creative non gamer designer involvment when in your feature "games we want announced in 2009" you talked about whats his faces next project, the guy behind shadow of the collosus, and didnt you say you never wanted to hear about ET again?
whatever, good article though
ps, sorry david if you didnt do the things i listed above, i just look at gr as a whole
I want ONE thing in character customization, they allways gloat about how you can make anyone but in allmost half the games wih character customixation, YOU CANT MAKE THEM FAT. Iwant to make a fat guy, period.
@infected 123
i understand that but if you want to make it an RPG, little extras arent going to cut it.
The whole point of the space marines is to have a more unified, effective taskforce, to be the opposites of the imperial guard. they make up for their de unification and un standerdization, so space marines dont change very much from tactical trooper to tactical trooper, and the experiance part is a good point, i actually hope that you start the game as an imperial guardsmen, and work your way up to mabey even chapter master.
where in the hell is the WARHAMMER 40k mmo that was in development in, like, 08.
Now that would be something awesome, but mabey they were scared away by what happened to WAR, its a shame what happened.
This game looks like dynasty warriors in space for christs sake, and how are you going to level up, leveling up means that you will have development, but how are you going to develop if your a space marine? they all basically look the same until your at the very top of the chapters ranks or if your an apocathary of a tech priest. Not looking promising.
Be careful, anything that relies on a few selling points and telling them over and over again has to be treated carefully,(fully voiced, no mission twice), Plus star wars only has the huge fan base here in America, all those Korean and German and French people arent as into star wars as America is, since it is geared towards Americans. NEVER NEVER EVER call a mmo a WOW killer, there is no such thing, people are too lazy to begin new connections and star from scratch, and that is the only reason people have stayed with WOW over some arguably better games such as Conan and WAR(its a shame what happened to it). Thats my five sense, there will not be a WOW killer probably till past when the world is supposed to end(2012 is my call)
well not all of these are bad, it just takes a good developer to perfect the innovation in such a beautiful way that it makes up for all the sucky games that tries and failed at it, like red faction for destructable environments
wait wait wait,
like four of these are just facelifts, thats not revolutionary, its allready been done, what with street fighter turbo HD remix and games allways being released in different formats on handholds. I just dont think that these things are revolutionary, but rather just little things that make the game unique, every game has their own unique little things, but that dosent mean anyone else is going to use them. And guitar hero 5 isnt about revolutionising gaming, but how it is catching up to the curve.
Spanish track on DVDs? awww c'mon such a bad reference! I can live without it, but there are roughly 500 million people who would hate it if DVDs lost that little bullet point on their backs.
Now onto the article itself, I do enjoy multiplayer but for me it's Single player first, then co-op (nothing like gaming with some friends or family in the same couch) and then comes multiplayer, for when I'm done with the campaign
