The soaphawk weirded me out too.

What I found strange was how Russia just went from, "OUR DUDES ARE DEAD!" TO "KILL AMERICA!". Like they'd just go in guns blazing, forfeiting just about all the relations between them and us that have come out of the past 24 years?

Jackthemenace is right about Nero being the real reason for hating. He wasn't bad, but even after replaying and replaying it, Dante still was the best and will be.
Even being a 360 fanboy, I was a little peeved about DMC4 coming out on the 360. I got it for the PS3 just because of the nostalgia, though.

Japan is weird, but at least for what it lacks in normal-ness, it makes up for in interesting-ness.

Fanboys: 8 reasons why they deserve some respect
I'm an Xbox 360 fanboy, former PS2 fanboy. I hate the PS3 and I hate the Wii.
I also hate Final Fantasy, Halo and Solid Snake.
I love Devil May Cry, Splinter Cell, and Grand Theft Auto.
I feel like I'm the only person who still talks about how Rainbow Six Vegas: 2 might have been the best game ever.

Some of these were good, but this article seemed to have swine flu syndrome: it made news out of things that didn't deserve news. A lot of these things weren't easter eggs at all.The article just seemed a bit half-baked, that's all.
