Fruit Ninja Kinect (Xbox 360): Fruit Ninja Kinect review
@TLIDE Don't throw a hissy fit. There's such a thing as being pleasantly surprised by a video game, and the reviewer was pleasantly surprised. Halo: Reach, however, had a world of expectation to live up to. Instead of living up to the epic scale and vehicle portions of the previous Halo games, it gave a much more sane, footsoldier kind of gameplay. This defeated the very thing that made Halo one of the best FPS's of all time. In a sea of FPS's that exclude vehicles because, frankly, they're much harder to work in, the Halo series championed its own unique gameplay. And yet, Halo: Reach managed to make vehicles boring. Not only in multiplayer, but in single player as well. Although Halo: Reach is a VERY good game, (multiplayer-wise at least)it only felt like Call of Duty in space due to the prevalence of armor abilities and Sniper Rifles, etc. The vehicles had become gimped as a result. Although Halo: Reach was definitely a good game, it did not come even close to living up to the legend of its predecessors. Instead, it proved the depressing rut that video games have been trapped in as of late. By sacrificing the very things that made Halo Halo, Reach left the bitter taste of disappointment in the mouths of every loyal fan that appreciated Halo for what it was 3 years ago.

Tbh, this doesn't look like a DotA game at all. It looks more like... something different. More like an over-simplified WoW pvp. (Who knows? Could be fun, but it isn't DotA at all and shouldn't be referred to as such.)

How to fix what's wrong with PC gaming
You can access the steam overlay (which allows you to receive messages, see who's online etc) in nonsteam games... My friends use it while we play SC2 all the time @recaptcha: I don't know what you were about to say, but Warhol was a tripmaster.

Halo Reach (Xbox 360): Halo: Reach - A Halo-hater's hands-on
Is there any meaning to Street Fighter? Brawlers like that never really appealed to me. I don't think Halo is really that much worse of a multiplayer shooting experience than other shooters. They're basically all the same if you ask me. (With the exception of class based shooters) But I mean, what are we comparing this game to? Battlefront? Quake? If the latter, I really don't see how one could criticize Halo for being basic. If you compare it to Battlefront, it starts looking different than Halo because of a more strategical take on the game. If strategy is what you mean by "meaning" then I might get this out of the way and say that any objective-based gametype is obviously strategy-oriented. Capturing points etc, all requires coordination. Shooters like Halo, Counterstrike, etc. all rely on pitting your skills against the man accros from you. I understand that you might be bored of getting bullied by people way better than you (which I do consistantly) and I'm truly sorry that you can't have fun while getting your ass kicked (and not only you, but most of the people in the gaming community as a whole).

Opinion: What is it with lame boss battles recently?
For me, it's really how the boss requires you to think on your feet and figure out how to beat it on your own. "hit the weak point for MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMASSIVE DAMAGE!!! bosses are getting old. How about something that makes you utilize the new toys you pick up on the way? (Metroid & Zelda come to mind...)
