10 months ago Bethesda against adding multiplayer to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
while I def see what Pete Hines is saying, all you have to do is allow it to just be a two player co-op experience, you know allow someone to join in on your game through INVITE only, that way they can't just pop in and steal all your loot or ruin the game for you, just make it to were one other person can explore the beautiful lands that bethesda has created...I mean just adding that wouldn't take away from any of the single player, all you'd have to do really is allow for another player to join in on someone else's game, and make the loot even as in if I kill a bowmen not only can I get the arrows and add them to my inventory but my buddy as well can take them too so that way there is no bickering between who gets what....I don't see how that would overall take away from the single player aspect, and I also know that yes developers are on a time scale, but it would be if time allowed couldn't they go through AFTER they have everything they'd like for single player and just add a co-op experience?

I'm just saying playing a game like skyrim or fallout would be soo much fun with a friend.
1 year, 2 months ago Batman: Arkham City – what we want to see
I could def see where there would be faults in MP (when I'm talking about MP I'm talking about PvP MP) but what if while facing another player instead of the "BATSENSE" I like to call it, appearing up above the other players head, make it like the hard mode was for the challenge maps, to where you couldn't tell when was the right time to counter, and you'd have to make it fist on fist (err well you know what I mean no gadgets) or else people would be nOObing with the batarang. I can def see the faults of a MP like that (not even going to mention Coop) but I think with the combat system the batman game(s) has would be fun to fight with another player instead of it just being button mashing....I mean yeah sure there might be alot of counters from both players, countering a counter which leads to another counter so on and so fourth, but eventually someone has to win, and it would be a great way to test your skills with the combat system against another Live player...yeah sure the enemies in AA had some variance to them like shock batons and such but facing a live person who can actually make decisions would be fun..

IF they just made BATTLEFRONT 3 like everyone wants them to the money they would make off of that game alone would allow them to hire all of those 135 people they had to cut, back into the studio...

that batman armor looks SICK!!...and it kinda looks like its based off of Batman Beyond as well...
1 year, 3 months ago Yale study: Gaming 'does not appear to be dangerous to kids'
see I heard this on the news and the ONLY part they stated was the problomatic gaming, IN which the News station I was watching made it seem like it was the whole study and that EVERYONE was like that, thing is they didn't say it was problomatic gaming/gamers..they just said that people who play video games are more likely to smoke, drink,do drugs and other things like that and I was like THATS BS!! BUT now that I've heard the full story and how they (the news station) made it seem like the study was all about how aggression and other things increases in people as they play video games, I know that the study showed the opposite and that the "Problomatic Gaming/gamers" was only a small percentile...

Also I'm glad this study is finally showing our point as gamers...most other studies it seems like they've only been going at them narrow minded while this one does give the positive results (being that it does NOT cause violence) and the negative (being the Problomatic gamers).....but before this thing will finally be shut up and buried there need to be alot more studies done for "other" people besides gamers to believe the sewage being shoved down their throats by the media/fox news.
1 year, 3 months ago THQ: New consoles are the 'last thing' the industry needs
I'd like to also point out that besides adding better graphics and more GPU/CPU and yadda yadda yadda just look at what the current-gen systems can do already. I mean internet connection and multiplayer ability was key for this generation (not to mention the better graphics and hardware) but if they want the future gen systems to sell they have to come up with something soo edgy and new it blows people out of the water.....I just hope to god the consoles don't turn into what the PC's did by having to constantly upgrade in a sense just to keep up with the new games ect that come out. (I don't mean like taking your graphics card out or anything.)

we don't need new systems right now, and god knows how much they would cost, just look at the current-gen....in the time that we are in now, its got to be about polishing your system and its capabilities and making them last as long as you can.
1 year, 3 months ago Fallout: New Vegas super review
another thing...your not invincible when your in V.A.T.S and the fact that you can get addicted to stimpacks? ....idk why but something feels off about this game...I can't place my finger on it...I would agree with the score, I think Fallout 3 is better....IDK I hope I'm not the only one who feels there is just something off about this game that I can't place my finger on...maybe someone could help me figure it out?
1 year, 4 months ago Medal of Honor drops Taliban name out of respect for fallen soldiers
I read nearly all the comments on here and I agree with what everyone is saying (on both sides), although I do think the WORD Taliban is just a word...see look..I'm gonna say it TALIBAN TALIBAN TALIBAN TAL-I-BAN!!!!!!...am I offended? no, are my FRIENDS who are over in afghan right now offended? no,..do they care? no....its just a stupid word.

what I don't like that I'm seeing in these comments is how people ASSUME its AMERICA as a whole that changed this...its not..it had to of been what a few thousand people who didn't like this SO PLEASE stop calling THE US of A stupid, and stop calling americans pussies, ITS not all of our faults, heck I read somewhere that some people from Britian also complained about the word Taliban as well soo its not just THOSE AMERICANS...way to put the blame on all when it was only a mere FEW who were complaining..
1 year, 4 months ago InFamous hero Cole is back to his old self. Now we miss the new one
If we are gonna be talking generic here, there is another "Generic Gaming Man" that is starting to be over used and frankly I'm personally starting to get annoyed with. I'm talking about the generic Hardass character with the Wolverine sounding voice(you guys know the one I'm talking about, what comes to mind is Gears of War when I think of the voice). Nathan drake to me was a bit of a breath of fresh air because he was witty and had his own charm, which now in any Shooter game there has to be the gruff wolverine sounding hardass. Cole's voice was a little to gruffy for me but he had character to him. Don't get me wrong I like a hardass every now and then but its a concept that is just being used to much too fast, In every other game that comes out you hear the voice and see the I don't care I just want to blow sh*t up and run head first into a fight because I think I'm such a hardass, attitude. Some of you are probably going to disagree with me but there has to be someone out there who knows what I'm talking about. Anyways I didn't think cole was to bad but he did need a bit more character development (besides the moral choices, like what was he like before the blast and gaining his powers?)In my opinion gaming could use a few more Nathan Drakes (because they have actual character and emotion to them) than the gruff hardass that seems to becoming a trend in most action/shooting games.

feel free to criticize, I know most of you will but like I said there has to be someone out there who see's what I'm talking about. We are all entitled to our opinions.
1 year, 5 months ago Fallout: New Vegas kills post-endgame exploration for a strong ending. Good idea or big mistake?
@ elpurplemonkey: the whole point of what he was saying though was that he'd like to finish the actual story without having little mini stories interrupting the main one, then going back whenever he feels like it and finishing up those mini stories, instead of having to worry about doing them all before he beats the actual game. I loved having GOTY edition fallout 3 because after I beat the main story I still felt like I had things to do...now I have do to them all before I complete the main story if I want them done.
