Dude, I played this game once, but didn't really notice the music. This stuff is AWESOME! Thanks for sharing; I needed something new to listen to. I'm off to find a copy of Creid (hopefully it's not too expen$ive)!
The old Rare logo was looking pretty old. Someone figure out how to add a texture map to a 3D model that would make it look shiny and they wore it out.
That said, I don't like the new one(s) either. You can't just add some of the most basic polygons and type out your company's name in ITC Avant Garde Bold and be done with it. There is NOTHING unique about these, except for the "R" inside the shapes. Maybe one of their summer interns designed this for them!
Oh and for Frank's sake, I had started that mine cart video, read the rest of the article and then wondered what that stupid noise was...oh yeah, the poor sap playing that terrible level wasn't done yet, meanwhile I'd lost interest!
Let me say that if a game has good co-op, I'll most likely buy the friggin' thing. Even a mediocre game can become awesome if you have someone else to trudge through it with! Consider my interest in this game piqued.
Fine choice, Mr. Elston! This is, IMHO, the greatest Silent Hill game and the best soundtrack of all of them. But I haven't heard much from Homecoming or Shattered Dreams...I mean "Memories". I had all of the Silent Hill soundtracks until they started cranking them out every other year!
I can't believe you guys even did another one after the last 6-hour show. We would have let you take a week off from it (well, I would have!). Anyway, thank you thank you!
Perfect choice! I love all of these songs so much. The old ones take me back to being young and the new ones are just plain awesome. They sound great with my sound system!
