I'm a bleedin war vet, I've done two tours of Afghanistan and one of Iraq but nobody ever asks my opinion! I'd be more pissed off with CoD4(if it weren't so awesome), which really trivialises and romanticises war. But SDIF could have shed some light on the suffering and sacrifice those lads went through but hey, once again people jump to conclusions and waves their arms in the air screaming just because it's a game. People wouldn't be making this much fuss if it were a film.

Oh yeah, Six Days in a lift with Carrot Top - much more traumatisin
7 months 7 days ago on Tekken 6 (Xbox 360): Can Tekken 6 outclass all other fighters?
I've never been a fan of Tekken since the second one. Next ot that the others still feel kinda clunky. Still, there's little doubt as to the quality of the series and another top tier brawler is always welcome, especially on the shooter-heavy 360.

First of all, an absolutely cracking article!

It was good to see FF6's theme in there, that games had music that provoked the rare (at the time) feeling that you weren't just playing a game, you were following an epic and well crafted story.

If I had to add anything to the list I'd have to say Thunder Force IV - those riffs were amazing -, FF7's One Winged Angel - an entire choir assembled for one last boss theme? Crazy! - and I always loved the Pyramid Head boss music at the end of SH2, horrifing and beautiful at the same time with such despairing, tragic air.

Thanks for the nice updates. I recently swore that if I ever become a billionaire I would take it upon myself to revive Shenmue. Much better than pissing money away via charities.

Some strong feelings here eh? I'm British, proud of my country. I admire America for going from a collection of colonies to the powerhouse it is today (read Crazy Horse and Custer by Stephen Ambrose - you'll be impressed). Likewise I admire Britain for staving off non-stop invasions and forging a world-spanning empire over hundreds of years, all from a tiny island. No amount of immature xenophobia will change those facts.

France is still gay. Good feature btw.

39 for me. Some pleasant memories in there. Shooters like Axelay and Thunder Force, they put hair on your chest.

I too am surprised at the lack of RE intro movie. The fact that they kept Wesker's appearance the same all these years after that pose is a testament to Capcom's devotion.

Arguably the funniest thing I've seen so far this year. Keep 'em coming guys!

Sorry everyone but I too am one of those responsible for the churning out of Dynasty Warriors year after year. I would stop if I weren't brainwashed by the eerie trances one goes into whilst ploughing through dozens of of the same character models at a time. It's strangely therapeutic in the way only simple and repetitive tasks can be...

What about the damn Hunters in RE1? One minute you're merrily using your shotgun to deprive the slow, dumb zombies of their heads and the next thing you know you're up against fast, tough beasts that could bloody decapitate you with one hit! I ran screaming through the corridors and I ALWAYS jumped when they leaped from around a corner, just out of sight. Bastards.

As an Ace Combat vet I'll definitely be getting this, nice to have a new IP other than slow arse WWII planes.

Ah i love the smell of a fanboy bitchslapfest in the evening. I'm one of the lucky ones who own all three and for me it's 360 for general gaming, PS3 for blu ray, LBP and MGS and wii to get the missus to shut the f up. I'll never forgive sony for making me pay again for a pad that rumbles.

Good article btw.

I'll probably play it to the end and trade it in, but hey you can never really trust a review. After all, it's still each to his own in the end.

DOW1 is still one of the only PC games I play regularly but methinks I'll have to upgrade somewhat to play this little beauty.

My friends, as I write this i am indeed drubk. But that has no influence on my sheer feeling that right now, i wisk I didn't read this review. Not because it was bad or inaccurate, but because I was acutally hopeful that we could enjoy a LOTR: Battlefront on our consoles. That dream has been shattered by their apparantely half arsed appetms. But then again I don't trust one-page reviews anyway so what the hell are we supposed to believe?"??""?!
