My friend has MK and we live in Aus, you just have to but games off the internet, i got BF3 limited edition off the web for $80 the week it came out, in the shops it would have been marked up to $120. No one buys from stores because it's overpriced and you don't have to worry about games being banned.
Chris we will miss you, but i am glad we have lasertime with the original hosts of tdar, it makes a great dynamic. Coop is awesome, having a fresh voice is great and he seems like a cool guy. Beyond a doubt mikel and hank could carry this podcast, especially if matt and coop keep coming on.
I laugh at you people complaining about price. In Aus, 360 and ps3 games cost $120 and Wii games are $100. The ps3 launch price was over $1000 and i got my Wii at launch for $450 or more. The Vita will cost easily $400 or more and our dollar is greater than the greenback ($US).
The controller opens up many more possibilities, such as new game types like this. And before people start complaining about wanting traditional modes, im sure there will be traditional verses in which you can use 2 CC or the tablet and a CC.
I am underwhelmed, it looks the same as the 360 which is about 7 years old. The controller is a gimmick and looks way to uncomfortable and will probably cost a fortune. It's relevance in the marketplace will be lost after a couple years when Microsoft and Sony release their new consoles. Everyone is sucked into the same hype train as the Wii. Also, the touch screen lacks multi-touch which i believe will hold it back and prevent it from being used to its full extent.
