Looks fun but I hope there's a way you can tackle this without having to rely on other people. Co-op is a nice thing to have but I'd much rather have a sound single player campaign.
i may have said some things that were already said in that last post
but here's a few more (keeping the fact that they may be repeats in mind)
sidekicks
safehouse
dirt (ie. game title vs. real dirt)
penguins (debatable because irl penguins are beastly)
portals (internet portals lose)
plasma
rage (i must say i think this one's good)
school (ie. bully)
politics (ie. red alert)
tanks
warthogs
heavy rain
cogs
painting
rings
eggs (anybody remember that weird sonic team game?)
shadow (ie. shadow the hedgehog who was sorta cool right?)
you gotta use home (irl wins) one. ravenbom strikes again
The thing a lot of people don't understand in kiddie games is that there is an audience who appreciates them. You don't get any representation of the little kids who play videogames because all they care about is having quick and easy fun with a relatable and/or recognizable character. Kids don't even think to care about gameplay elements and plot. Smack sonic the hedgehog or mario on it and it will sell regardless of wether or not the hardcore audience cashes in on it.
the mii business cards got me thinking about the picture I saw of a wanted sign in some asian country with a mii headshot instead of a real person's. I'm not sure if it was real or not.
cheers on the awesome best and worst parts vid. only thing is that from what I've seen, the little anime sequences look kinda nice. I can like the over-the-top background and ridiculously epic guitar. If capcom is making fun of themselves on this part than i think it's pretty damn funny. if not, than that's just embarassing for the publishers.3
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the PDA mini game in Alien Hominid on XBLA. I thought that game was awesome but that minigame was just straight tedious.
She could of just put in a game that he really wanted to play, it probably would have RRoD on him and broke it further than her 93 lbs of make-up and designer jeans could have.
Also, I'd like to point out that's not a 9 iron. Couldn't quite tell, maybe a cheap hybrid from a set someone bought?
Still, I'm not sure what would have pissed me off more, my GF ruining my golf clubs or ruining my 360.
"...play a rogue M16 agent working for Goldfinger..."
I think you mean "MI6" not "M16". 1 does look like a capital I, so that's probably why it got missed in editing.
On topic - I don't even understand why people loved Diablo II so much, or the first one for that matter. So the hate over Diablo III's art style completely baffled me.
Really? You think Metroid 2: The Return of Samus is "criminally obscure"?
Anyways, I was thinking about last gen, and I know it gets mentioned all the time, but what about Amaterasu from Okami?
True, she's naked the entire game, but she's tastefully naked, which not many heroines can pull off.
Also, I know there's already an Alex on the list, but Alex Roivas from Eternal Darkness was a very tasteful heroine.
You should do more reviews T-Nag!
I really want this. KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights are two of my favorite games, and games that I replayed 3 or more times, which is very rare for me.
Luckily I got a new computer this week, I think when I upgrade the graphics card I'll have to get this. (Assuming I don't put it off until right before Star Craft II comes out)
well im still a little proud of myself
