@Cyberninja: Certain parts of MGS4 kinda let you do that.

The 'over the shoulder' view would have to be my pet peeve. I think I can honestly say that every game every game released over the past 4 years has an over the shoulder view or some sort of element that includes it.

no 3d games. at least not for every game. Its bad enough that my girlfriend makes fun of me for getting emotionally into my games, i.e. MGS4, but I definitely dont need to do it with a pair of goofy ass glasses on.

I'm a huge Silent Hill fan and I still have yet to beat 1 and 4. SH1 looks like doodoo and that makes it so hard to try to play, and I hate to say that it may very well remain on my shelf forever. As for SH4 .... i've tried multiple times to try and get into it and I just cant ..... siiiigh....
