finally beating streets of rage on Genesis for the first time after owning it for ten years. Now that was awesome. My brother and i played it like crazy the first three years we had it and still would bring it out often as the years passed by but never ever beat it until finally a few months ago my friend and i beat it (he had a genesis and loved streets of rage too) that and bomberman were awesome.
The first gaming system i ever got was a sega pico (it was an video game system made for younger children) the games were these interactive books u plug in and flip the pages to change screens it had a touch pad and stylus that translated to a cursor on the screen. Me and my brother loved that thing to death. the best game was sonic the hedgehog gameworld. i played that forever as a young kid. the most memorable moment was when my twin brother and i broke our Pico by stuffing the cartridge slot full of pennies and quarters. we were just like "hmm... i wonder what will happen if we do this" and it broke. we were so sad. i'm not sure how long it took, but our parents eventually bought us a new one, but we were almost at the age where the games were too childish. i still playd sonic the hedgehog gameworld anyway though
I used to love the old genesis sonic games. I played them at the age of 4-8. But now i find them really boring. However this trailer does have me a little excited. ill have to check this game out
@cronoman66
i agree the logo does look a bit unlike sonic
The guitar hero drums. i thought they were going to freaking sweet and spent my christmas money on the band kit. then i played them for two days and it reminded me of why guitar hero became so boring, ur just hitting notes when the game tells u to instead of actually playing music. also there are a lot of variation in drum beats
umm... umm... umm... hmm... i don't think i've ever beaten an entire franchise because i usually never play spin offs or the franchise is older than me therefore i have not played the old ones.
there is no band i was inspired to listen to by music games. I download songs on the game tha ti like, but i never really like much of the other music by the bands, i'm just really picky with music. reCaptcha: buttock cheesecake... yum yum?
Banjo Chewie (or Banjo Kachewie)
Super Cashew Bros. (ugh that ones pretty bad)
Star Bars: The Fudge Unleashed
BioChoc
Prince of Peanuts
Almond Crossing
Guitar Churro (not really a candy bar but...)
Crunch Out!
WaferRace64
BrittleBigPeanut
That's all I got...FOR NOW!!!
i was maybe going to mention some wii games, but i havent played the wii in so long that i forgot about the piece of crap friend codes so nevermind, that would just be way too much a hastle
if i had to go with a game though i would say sonic 1, 2, and 3. i played those like crazy when i was 5-8. but now when i try to go back and play them i just find them immensly BORING! i honestly think that if i had been introduced to those games at an older age like 13 i would've hated them. and all the recent sonic games suck too, so... i just don't like sonic (except sonic heroes was alright)
its not really one single game rather than my whole ps2 library. really i became so bored with gaming that i hated it because i just couldnt get back into and became bored this fueled me and my twin brother to sell all our ps2 stuff to get a wii since it was something 'new and different' and to salvage my love of gaming. it worked (and only took two years to get pissed at how crappy the wii's library became, nothing a ps3 for christmas couldn't solve!)
How can u only let us pick five! But whatever here we go...
1. Banjo Tooie/Banjo Kazooie (i can't split these two up, and once i play one i have to play the other, these games are just full of good memories)
2. Kingdom Hearts/Kingdom Hearts 2 (again just can't split them up, it was tough to put these at #2, but i sold my ps2 to buy a wii, (what a waste) and as such havent been able to play these over cause my ps3 doesn't freaking have backwards compatability)
3.Streets of Rage, Sega Genesis (owned it for over ten years before ever beating it, so close so many times, but i still love it to death)
4. Super Smash Bros., N64 (probably the game i've put the most hours into ever playing it over and over with my brother)
5.Pokemon Gold, Gameboy Color (multiple 120 hour games, comes in fifth due to the fact that all pokemon games are really similiar
Honorable Mentions: Mario Kart 64, Zelda Oot (the only zelda played more than once) Golden Axe (never beaten it in the 10+ years of owning it)
Batman forever on the sega genesis. Me and my brother were 5 and loved batman, but this game just sucked. if i remember right, there was this one part where you needed the x,y, and z buttons to get past. we only had one controller that had those three (the other only had a, b and c)and we were always playing two playerif there was ever a way to get through without those, i woulodn't know, but it was always the one who had the xyz controller could get past and the other couldnt. it was so annoying and it was the like the one game that we didn't rent to try before buying too.
Spiderman 3 on the wii. thank god i rented it instead of buying it cause that was the worst shit ever. i didn't have any issues with movie games up to that point (from playing power rangers on the genesis at age 5 to the awesome spiderman 2 on ps2)and this was the first one where i hated it and i havent played a movie game since and probably never will
First!!! Downloading games or going out and buying them... it really doesn't matter to me it's not like its that big a deaal to go out and buy a game at a store
oh that's a tuffy... For me its between N64 and ps2. I'd have to say N64 though because i still come back and play that every once and awhile. My friend, my brother and me will bring it out and play multiplayer Banjo tooie any day and love the shit out of it, except it would always sound wierd at school when my friend would say "hey lets play some banjo after school" and people would look at us like what the hell and even if i explained that it was an old game they would still be like "a game about a bear and a bird? sounds retarded. apparently nobody in ohio knows what banjo tooie is... but anyway N64 RULES!!!!!!!!!
