I never said that it was more 'exciting'. I said that it was more 'enjoyable'. There's a difference. I wasn't giddy with excitement over exploring a barren world with no side missions but it was more enjoyable than just moving a crosshair across a planet surface and launching probes. More immersive, if you will.
But we can both agree than planet mining/exploration with no side missions is a waste of time.
"The planet mining was boring and tedious as hell, yes, but can't tell me with a straight face than wandering aimlessly around same planets with just a color palette swap with the buggy mako was much more enjoyable."
Actually that WAS more enjoyable than just scanning a planet from space and launching a probe. At least it felt more like exploring since you could get out of the MAKO and put boots to ground.
I a fan of Jay-Z and his music but even I'm thinking that these two things do not work together in this instance. Maybe if they just used the instrumental but the lyrics don't work...
Great preview, Mikel. You were both funny and informative. I remember playing Oblivion and, even after playing for over 100 hours, I only closed one Oblivion gate. There was just so much to do in that game, it was crazy. I'm looking forward to more of the same from Skyrim.
They better not mess this up!!! This started off as good news but then the points that the author bought up made me think otherwise. Just give us a pure SSX experience without any of this motion-controller crap!! Aargh, I getting mad just thinking about how bad they'll mess this up :)
Just add a timer to the detective mode/vision as if the battery runs out quick and you need time for it to recharge before you can use it again. A minute of straight usage would require two minutes or so for it to fully recharge again for further use.
My son and I love playing the PS2 version. Haven't finished it yet though. I even bought Persona 4 and haven't even opened it yet. I want to finish P3 first (even though the stories aren't connected).
I'm with crazyshemai, I like that this game got a good review because I'm planning on getting this holiday season but...How come there is no review for Ultimate Ninja Storm? Don't tell me that no one on the staff has played it yet...
