The user interface and the actual gameplay seem to contrast each other too much, it takes you out of the moment too much. Amping the difficulty by adding timing meters, persuasion rate of success where you either scare a suspect, try to be understanding, or go completely under cover and simply act as if you have similar interests would make this game a whole lot better. I hope they do add stabler in future episodes.
San Andreas was my favorite in the series so I'm glad they're revisiting, female protagonist would have been more interesting as others have been saying, but let's not be put off, remember, there's still DLC to look forward to. Aside from that, I'm really geared up for the release. There's a lot of ground to cover from this point on, including the character clearly being a mafioso, that's a good level contrast between new and old.
I have Far Cry 1 & 2, loved them, lots of fun. I just always thought that the animation's posing was a bit awkward. I still see it in these screenshots too. I'm sure it's difficult enough to render these, and properly propping characters is quite a task, but I've seen it done correctly so for a high end team such as this, I would think they could do it.
I don't think this is really EA's or Steam's fault, I think it lies in the Developer's lap to fix this as it might seem that the DLC for Dragon Age II was built within the game. Again, Steam has standards and it must stand to them, they made a policy change which WE the users agreed to and STEAM has to follow or else there will be a breach in agreement. Dragon Age II would need to change how it handles its new DLC to get back on Steam, nothing to do with Origin.
I saved a lot of money on Steam over the last couple of years. I've gone from having an awesome gaming rig to my mom's old laptop. But with steam, it didn't matter, as long as I could sign in to my account and download my games, I could play the lower end, older games on it. I recently got into Thief, which I'm truly admiring. And I'm replaying the older GTA games I bought with in the GTA Pack for $50. That included GTAIV w/ Episodes. The initial price may be high for PC (And that's only if you don't already own a desktop otherwise, it's $200 for an entry graphics card that can run pretty much anything console are barely pumping out.) but in the long haul, you will save more money.
Well as for the Veta's problematic service provider, if you have a smart phone with Android 2.2 you can use your own service provider via wifi hotspotting.
@mrm1138: I stopped reading the article after he said that if you listen to Maynard you will most likely kill the little sisters which is UTTER BULLSHIT! Anyone with half a brain cell can hear the great compassion Maynard has on the world around him. Clearly you do not listen to music (I'm not insinuating that if you don't listen to Tool or APC you don't listen to music but that if you don't take the time to understand the music you're listening to what does that say about you?). Next time you're going to talk about something that's out of your element (Donnie), maybe research it first.
I'll probably just skimp through this article now.
I was disseminated in myself when I found out I was not longer able to get the date with Yuffie (too many wrong choices) in FFVII. Anyways, I have to agree Maaaac, Zidane and Garnet make a great couple, then again, it could be my endless affection towards IX, which was completely overlooked. It was a great homage to the SNES FF games and there was so much to do, though the card game in FFVIII is so awesome it makes the rest of the game so much easier...
I'm completely disappointed to see that Zero (Jack) isn't available as a lesbian lover, that's what really peaked my interest in the relationship for ME2, disappointed. BIOWARE ADD IT AS AN ADD-ON OR SOMETHING... C'MON!!!
I've skimmed through some of the comments and see that people are finally coming to their senses. I know a couple of people know this but Xbox is called Xbox for microsoft's Direct X service. It's basically a cheap computer with a shitty operating system so people can play Direct X games which is available on Microsoft other platform: Windows. Windows 7 comes with Direct X11, Xbox 360 uses something equivalent to DX9. 360 is at a limit in every way now. Grow a pair and build yourself a gaming computer hook it up to your 42" 1080p HDTV and enjoy a much richer experience. When it comes to consoles, I got me a PS3 because it serves a lot more quality exclusives.
what really pisses me off is that I heard it's not coming to the PC. I paid the 50 bucks for the game, I want my fucking ending you vile pricks at ubisoft.
