I for one can't wait for the standard thematic dungeon exploration tied together with a quirky overworld exploration mechanic.
Also, in this incarnation, I hope that Tingle's made of glitter and cuckoos gang rape you. You know, updating the classic and all that...
(Any word on Multiplayer, like the Knights vs. Link WFC game?)
This article is kind of jarring in that, as a consumate technophile-consumer, I can't wait for the jaded nihilistic dystopian future!
AND, this article was spectacular. It legitimizes the interesting and thought-provoking nature that can be discussed in games journalism.
(*Forwards this to persons interested in the cyberpunk genre)
Pokemon Jynx is more of a kooky Japanese historical-come-fashionable image rather than the lazy black stereotype (although that DBZ Mr. Popo is a Moor if I've ever seen one).
Here's a superfluous wiki-citation for the disturbing fashion trend.

The only more disturbing trend is black teeth... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohaguro
Great list! I definitely agree with that little jibe at "grinding=gameplay."
In my head, I redefine "gameplay" estimations in games.
"Over 60 hours of gameplay!" actually means:
1.5 hours of tutorial (acceptable)
3 hours of battles-relevant to core-plot (could be more)
10 hours of mandatory fetch-quests (urg...)
30 hours griding to meet area level requirements to enter plot-relevant battle areas (no...)
2.5 hours of cutscenes involving some sort of prissy ingenue (over it)
11 hours walking before learning a convenient "warp" technique (brains!)
2 hours of character customization (reaction is variable)
