1 year 2 months ago on Gaming to go
After being forced to play recent games on a decent laptop for about a year and a half, I realize that gaming on laptops (along with "gaming laptops") is definately not the way to go. This was apparent after crysis came out, along with not pwning noobs in other games effectively. A friend got an Alienware SLI laptop about a year and a half ago, and the hardware just has been giving out on him this year, to the point that the motherboard fried last month. His friends (and mine) are all "I'm getting an uber laptop for college..." No. No. Just no. Take the money you would have spent, get a cheapo $500 laptop, and sink the rest into a desktop.

Nothing beats the feel of a real keyboard under your fingers, SPEAKERS (not headphones), and a real man's monitor in front of you. And while you're at it, a GTX 280, please.
