| I transformed into a magical super-geek with Star Wars: KOTOR on PC. I played through it about 8 or 9 times, each time learning the best possible equipment and stats upgrades. Now, under D&D3 rules, changes to character stats only count on even numbers. So, on my final playthrough, having memorized everything I needed, I was able set my starting stats - right at the beginning of the game - such that, with all the upgrades from equipment, leveling-up and Force alignment bonuses, with all the many combinations of even and odd numbers, all my stats ended up on even numbers by the end of the game! It was a feat of statistical perfection! Sadly, the Statistical Perfection feat was not one of the available options upon levelling-up in the game. |

| Tyler, I had the same thing with Link To The Past. I got it when I was 11, and I got to the final boss, Ganendorf in his true form. I was able to hit him with three silver arrows. I thought that would be enough (three is usually the magic number). I never found out how many hits it took to kill him. I also picked it up years later on an emulator, and even with the advantage of save states I never finished it. More recently, my most damning failure-to-finish is probably Lego Star Wars. I tried to play it through with my girlfriend, but we both got so tired of the annoying snowspeeder section in the Empire Strikes Back that we never persisted with it. How lame is that? |

| This would have been more interesting if they'd given you a cyborg protector, like in the movies, for you to use as dynamic cover and remote offence. It would have been a new sort of relationship in gaming, sort of like a reverse-escort mission, and it would have more accurately represented the movies and the fact that one human generally can't destroy countless machines. |

| @MilitaryRaiden That's a big accusation you're making there - comparing US forces in Fallujah to Nazi death squads. There is no basis for such a comparison. There are many people who support the coalition's role in Iraq, who do not associate our troops with the SS, and who would be grossly offended by your comments rather than by this videogame. You write as though your opinion about the war in Iraq is a simple fact, and so conclude that this game is irredeemably offensive. This is incorrect. If I were you, I would take a look at how Islamic countries treat their Jewish populations before you compare US forces to the Nazis. |

| In the Star Wars: KOTOR games, you can activate a stealth generator or Jedi stealth powers to turn invisible and sneak around. Stealth is broken by attacking an enemy or a successful detection roll. But how's this for an obscure stealth reference? In Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, there are a couple of missions where you have to manoeuvre your little fleet of space vessels around the dark sides of various planets and stuff, avoiding sensor stations and enemy patrols, to make it out of the enemy-occupied sector! |
