Awesome. The music in the bonus levels of DKC always got stuck in my head. In the GBA version it narrows down where they are (which levels) so you can find them all. I still haven't found them all, on the SNES or the GBA.
Cloud? For real? From what I know of Cloud, he was a pretty moody guy who freaked out under pressure and attempted to assume the identity of his mentor. In all honesty, although PTSD is a real issue, (it shouldn't be a real issue in games, I know) that doesn't sound all too manly.
I feel like I just walked into the men's locker room and a discussion that I shouldn't have been hearing. Snake ftw! He smokes, AND reads gentleman's magazines all in the same game, sometimes at the same time!
I don't really like the position of the power button. It just seems like it would be too easy to accidentally turn off. That, and the GAMES that they have for the DS have never really struck me as being...well, you know, good. I bought the DS lite because I wanted to play some good Mario and Zelda games. But most of the DS games, are just shovelware. BABIEZ and BRATZ and HORSEZ and crap like that. The SD card slot on the DSI while good for people downloading demos and games online, will be a gold mine for home-brews and pirates. I think I'm going to skip on this one, until they release a new version in a few years that's lightr and 5%brighter like the iPods....
RROD is kind of like a big kick in the face directly from Bill Gates himself, eh? "Hahaha! Go buy a Vista PC!" I'd considered getting a 360, but are new consoles still plagued by this problem? Because...you know, I kind of want my shit to work.
I was 14 when I played my first resident evil game. RE2 was pretty rough on my virgin eyes (and now it's just.....rough). I had some pretty weird dreams about zombies for years to come after, it totally freaked me out. I'd never seen anything else like it. Here's hoping that this doesn't just scares us, it @*$%'s us up for life.
LOL @ Snarf, they'd sooner eat the grass that he deer would have to eat to survive...to survive. And as for the squirrel, they'd feel immense guilt, and probably have a little funeral for the squirrel.
Haha, fun! I need to be first to compensate for the fact that I have nothing interesting to say or do, and spend all day refreshing the GR page to find new features! The Wii's novelty has pretty much worn off for me, I'm just looking for good games to come out...Same with the DS--especially since every time I walk by the Nintendo section and see more crapware like BABIEZ and the like littering up the shelves. And to be honest, I never played Wind Waker, but I did play Phantom Hourglass. While it did seem like more of a kiddie game, I have to say that I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass more than Twilight Princess, despite how pretty TP looked.
Good article, except of course the flame-war inciting comment. Hmm, Microsoft has PCs as well as the 360...so who is actually the man in this case? PS3 is better. I play it because I want my stuff to work, not mock me with red lights and its incapability to work. The 360 has better online play than the PS3, but I really don't want to listen to 12-year olds shouting out how big their p3n15 is. I don't want to have to buy half of my game through DLC, and when I do go online, I don't want to have to pay extra for the full online experience. And you might have the Orange Box better-ness, but Konami would first release a MGS for the iPod touch and iPhone before they would release a port for the 360....and those who say "first" without adding anything constructive to say are most definitely retards.
I love EGM. I started reading it a long time ago. They don't talk down to their readers, and I always thought they were better than Game Informer and Nintendo Power. Damn, now the only gaming mag I'll be able to read is Playstation Magazine.
I feel like Nintendo has broken up with the world. Given up on dating all together, except for 'family people' and weird obsession with making children happy.
Hehe, 50 Cent Blood on the Sand sounds like a next-gen blaxploitation flick. I think I remember reading something about it before, I didn't think something like that could possibly be real. Damn that's funky!
re: Goth Gamer--it's not fun when someone's sole purpose is not to play the game the way its supposed to be played, but by using unfair means. How much do we like it when someone is accused of insider trading? It's like camping at the base with an assault rifle and just annihilating the other team and then trying to claim that you pwn. All griefers should be digitally crucified. It's not sick, it's justice, dammit! LOL

It's not that Dracula doesn't learn, per say, it's that he adheres to the "Villain" code. You know, you let them 'kill' you but only a little bit; after all, everyone needs a paycheck next week too. :P
Also, the drawings of the hands may have less to do with Altair being in the game or not and more to do with giving "hints" that da Vinci is the artist that created the blades and crazy bat wing contraption.
Being an artist, da Vinci was well known for sketching hands (since they're so hard to draw) and being left handed, he'd sketch his right. And both hand sketches on the trailer are of right hands.
