A celebration of C64 loading screens
Enjoyed the article. Back in the day I was a Spectrum fan boy. Some of the things they did with loading "SCREEN$", even with the spectrums limitations, were mind blowing for the day (if not as colourful or tuneful as the C64).
I can share the ethusiasm in this article. Seeing something new done with the hardware that was around then was exciting. Nowadays nothing seems to be as ground breaking or surprising as the past. Or maybe I am just looking back with rose tints on.
I also agree that a good loading screen seemed to be sure sign of quality in the 80's, making your £1.99 or £2.99 puchase even more worthwhile.

The secretly sinister storylines of your favourite games
Enjoyed. Might of been fun just showing the descriptions then seeing if we can guess the game.

That sketch from jam was Dark, dark, dark and dark but I strangely enjoyed it. The sketch later on with the troubled woman made me laugh.

17 videogame soundtracks ahead of their time
Tracks I think were ahead if their time?

-Megablast from Xenon 2 ( although not an original game track, was amazing for its time)

-Chaos Engine with its electronic music that changed when you got to a certain parts of the map.

RUSE (Xbox 360): Ubisoft's RUSE: Brilliant or broken?
This looks very interesting. Shame about the useless trailer for it on PSN. Will keep an eye on it as I fancy an RTS.

23 amazing game soundtracks you don't remember
I agree with Skidd777. Although some of these tunes bring back memories, Bioshock and JGR are tracks I would listen to outside of a game.
