Don't mean to ruin anyone's fun, but I heard from a 360 magazine (who shall remain nameless) that it had been announced that the game will be PC only :(
I was looking forward to it too!
And she was naive enough to believe that her boyfriend would smile, look at her lovingly and say "You know, you were right. I HAVE learnt my lesson. I love you."? She is so dumped obviously......why can't she just accept the 360 into the family?
I swear that game was an under-rated classic of our time, and I pity all you fools who didn't play it and will never play it, although most of you idiots still have a PS2 right?
I'm sick of people at our school boasting about MW2.
I overheard one idiot claiming he'd completed it in three hours on the hardest difficulty setting.
Isn't it a seven hour campaign?
I think they should make text-only games for the 360. Cheap. I would be willing to pay 50p for a text-only game, and let's face it, a text adventure is something a junior programmer can do in his lunch break.
But not on Live. A DISC, MICROSOFT. Pleasums?
I wouldn't get so excited.....Borderlands is an RPG, and the complete lack of character customisation really puts me off....and I know it will others too.
Me? I'd rather stick to Fallout.
I might have a foggy memory but I somewhat specifically remember that at the end of God of War 2 in the final area (I forget the name), there were murials (sp?)on the wall that depicted events of the first and second game and then their was a third one.
It had a bright star in the sky and three hooded men in the middle of the desert. What does that mean? It's a rather obvious reference to the Three Wise Men of the Christian Bible.
I might be grabbing here, although I could definitely see the series heading here, that after Kratos kills off all of the Greek Gods, with none left to rule he is able to assert himself as THE God which would actually in hindsight make sense seeing as how utterly bloodthirsty and maniacal the Old Testament's God is.
Again, I might be grabbing for straws AND my memory is now a little fuzzy (I plan on getting the PS3 compilation when it releases) but I clearly remember screaming that 'revelation' to all of my friends who had beaten God of War 2 when it came out.
If my memory isn't incorrect, then I would love them to go in this direction as that is a bit of a subtle foreshadowing that you have to pay active attention to see it.
I just figured the few PC titles weren't worth mentioning since they're already dirt cheap, and were pretty much ignored by retailers across the board.
Plus, I was trying to weigh the overall value all of the discounts:
-$30 Console game > -$5 PC game
Anyone that's bitching about either the PC Modern Warfare 2's lack of Dedicated Servers or Left 4 Dead 2 being released at all needs to grow the fuck up.
Quit your bitching, hit puberty and shut your collective stupid mouths.
@KillDrone That's why the contest is only asking you to reflect on the good times you had with the series.
Hell, send a screenshot of your favorite level, if you like.
@Hunter2458 It is compatible with the game of "Life" There's even a warning sticker asking you to "Please skate within your abilities on the other side
@LawlingLobstaFTW I assume you're being sarcastic, so did you not notice the large "SPOILERS AHEAD" graphic with bold exclamation points at the very beginning of the article?
After reading the entire article, I gotta say that this entire feature is made of yummy nostalgia goodness that threatens to unravel the very fabric of the intarwebs lol
I wish I could be cooler about this, but yes, I'm pants-shittingly excited about this game! And even though David mentioned it, I'd still like to submit this as my personal 12th reason:
I was looking forward to it too!
