Yes, killing bugs is fun, but mentioning "make you forget that you’re essentially killing the same handful of enemies over and over," shows that although it may be fun, it does not bring anything new to the table. I think this should have went to a game that separates itself from the everyday game, such as Catherine, or Bastion. Man I loved Bastion. Its fun combat system, narrative, and art style is flawless, and the soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in a game :)
I would love to have this, a couple weeks ago me and my pals wanted to play monopoly, so we went to my house to get my old pokemon monopoly... it was given away D: I really wanna play monopoleh
it's getting pretty sad seeing Activision cutting off these organizations, especially since these companies helped Activision by making some really great games...
If I had another chance at companion cube I would provide the greatest amount of love I can give. Companion Cube and I would take walks in the park, we would go to the movies together, and we would also discuss complex algorithms at an intellectual manner. Deliverance of pure love and happiness is a guarantee, and the only thing I would ask for in return is forgiveness for, you know, tossing you into a vat of fire...
haha so i just got this game used, cuz u guys are on the back of the box and it said u mentioned it's "flashy goodness." But this review says the exact opposite, that it lacks the flashiness of its older games, which is undoubtedly true... hmm... makes you think.
yeah... so to validate this idea, let me mention something worth mentioning. Once upon a time in the State University of Oswego, specifically October 11th in the Oswego Campus Center, a guest speaker visited discussing the game design and writing process. This man goes by the name Jeffery Gardenier, and was the lead designer of fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. One curious student (me) asked the man if the idea of a new Oblivion was in the making. He gave me that "look." The look that screams "I WANT TO SHOUT IT TO THE ROOFTOPS" look. But he merely said "I am not allowed to say."
Thought this little piece of info could help clear up this new oblivion game fiasco. :)
no! my videogame therapist is leaving :( he should actually try to make a difference instead of just leaving though :/ gonna miss the awesome katamari games
wow... just wow... wonderful article. you've really outdone yourself buttercup :) may i suggest we start a horse rights movement? the fact that people assume that horses must be directed by humans is outright redundant. I mean, wild horses run quite alright without people, if not better! Horses have a right to walk for themselves and I won't rest until every horse is given a choice to free ride or parnter ride!
one should not try to decide one over the other. if one wants to become a pokemon master, one must venture through both versions in order to obtain this goal. therefore both versions contain their own set of pros and cons, meaning one cannot choose one version over the other.... the end
... my name is Travis :D best. article. ever
