It'll be awfully ironic if I don't get into this beta, considering I tested the game at Hi Rez before any game news sites even got to try it. Seriously, I wasn't legally allowed to talk about it until about a month later when IGN got a hands-on with it.

Gen III is definitely my favorite. It was the only gen where I loved all the starters, I liked the pokemon designs in general, and it was the first gen I played, so there might be some nostalgia in there too.

My favorite Ghost is probably Mismagius. I like how it looks cute, but it can do some really evil stuff if it wants to.

Also, actually, the Day Care people CAN overwrite moves. I know because they deleted Extrasensory off my Togetic that I got from that egg the guy gives you in HGSS! It was an egg move so I don't think I can ever get it back on that Togetic. Those barstools.

Ohh yes, no one where I live understand that Pokemon isn't just some stupid kids' game. The anime (and even the TCG) have given people the impression that it is, and I can't convince anyone of how deep it is. I talk about Pokemon with the two other nerds at my school (my best friends) and pretty much keep it to myself from everyone else.

I'm going with the water otter, his last form is absolutely kickass. I also like the grass snake, though. I was a bit disappointed by the fire pig, I was hoping he'd stay on all fours. Check Serebii.net, people, they have the last stages for all three!

It's never really seemed to me that the Dark type was always evil and the opposite was Psychic. I mean, the only case of that I can think of is Darkrai. Of course there's Umbreon and Espeon, but Umbreon isn't evil...

As for importing, I don't get it. I mean, if you don't speak Japanese, what's the point? I don't see how you can beat the game if you can't read the text and you'll get a version you can understand in a few months.

Also, that forum argument with Pokepizza and Ethan was kinda funny, though a little sad.

I tried this with a picture from an old GR article. It was an article about annoying game characters... The picture was of what the GR staff wants to do to Navi from Zelda (tank of starving bullfrogs) but it had Chris Antista on the side. I uploaded it to the celebrity look-alike thing, and apparently Chris looks like Estee Lauder. Yup.

Whoa, WTF? I just had a look at my profile settings and discovered the weirdest "About Me" description. I must have written that when I was 10 or something. It needed updating. Anyway I'm noofer7, I live in the US, and I own a Wii and DS. I have strong opinions on how Nintendo is shunning their core audience, and I will be happy to share them if you ask... and probably even if you don't. I tend to rant. But I'm pleased with Nintendo's E3 2010 lineup so maybe they're finally getting back on track. Also, dogs still have fur, only it's more mature fur now.
