I remember Gex getting a moderate amount of respect in his time. The games weren't too bad. The rest of these mascots are pure crap.

You know what else is amazing about all those commercials? They all had release dates. What a concept to let people know, if the game is not out already, when they can pick it up.

I personally like the SMB3 sprite from Super Mario Allstars. It the perfect simplicity of SMB3 Mario with the polished SNES looks of SMW.
