1 year, 2 months ago Activision teaser hints at Prototype 2 announcement
I think the "VGA = Wikileaks" thing happened slowly over the years. For a while, it was only a new trailer or two, but as the network demanded higher ratings, more VGDs (video game developers) gave the viewers more bonus material, slowly making it into what you see today.
1 year, 2 months ago Assassin's Creed III details possibly leaked by Ubisoft survey
Here is what I completely want: 2, 5, 6, 9, 11-15
(I really wish I could see patrol paths, even if it meant staring at them for a while in Eagle Vision. At the same time, the Borgia Towers were one of my favorite sections of AC: Brotherhood. I can only wonder where Desmond can go in time to find out more about the pyramids. Come on, with the recent additions of the crossbow and smoke bomb, as well as the ability to call in assassins, we already know it can be done. Just change the "Assassin's Call" from an AI spawning system into a player alert system, and we have perfect communication from multiple angles. Finally, MULTIPLAYER FTW!!)

Here is what I completely oppose: 1, 3, 4
(We are ASSASSINS, not MERCENARIES! Making your hidden blade increase your free running ability or incorporating all kinds of explosives will only cause trouble, not only for the engine, but also for the players.)

For # 7, I would only want something to close off his story ONCE AND FOR ALL, kind of like how the team says Catarina Sforza's life turns out, or maybe even a short playable sequence like the AC2 "Altair" flashback.

For # 8, NO ACHIEVEMENTS CAN BE LINKED BETWEEN THE FACEBOOK GAMES AND THE ACTUAL CONSOLE GAME!

For # 10, the only difference between it and # 9 should be whether or not you can play it while connected to Live/PSN. It should have the same story, same gameplay, with the only difference being screen size (although I would be in favor of making the AI slightly dumber in split-screen to compensate for this loss of peripheral vision).

I think Kotick means that he can't release sequel after sequel on these systems without LOSING MONEY (which is a very good thing in terms of Activision)

1 year, 2 months ago LEGO-like MEGA Bloks partners with Need for Speed
I know this is off-topic, but you guys should update the default "Need for Speed" Knowledge from Most Wanted to Hot Pursuit. After all, it IS 2010, not 2005.
1 year, 2 months ago Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood shop quests guide
I am really glad there are no 100% achievements for the Brotherhood shop quests, because I sold a lot of my initial items to get my Roman landlord empire started.
1 year, 2 months ago First Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer DLC will be free
Hey, I know this is WAY off topic, but does anyone know what the "new" dialogue/e-mail outside the animus is for Sequence 8 (AKA the "final assault on the Borgia family" sequence)? I went out of my way to find out what was new at the end of each sequence, but I got too caught up in beating the final sequence, and I ended up getting to the final cut-scene without that dialogue (for an example of what the extra dialogue taught me, through a few secret e-mails on Lucy's account, I found out that she had feelings for Desmond, and they would be going to the Assassin's headquarters immediately after they get the Apple, so the voices after the credits are probably from the current "il Mentore" of the Assassins, who are reacting to Desmond apparently going crazy after being in the Animus for too long (this isn't what actually happens, but only the people who beat the game should know the actual series of events). When he appears to be "going into shock", they decide that the best way to save his life is to put him back in the Animus, which is why you can become Ezio again after the credits roll. However, they still think that this was another "bleeding effect", so Desmond's allies are worried about putting him back in there)

Anyways, time to get back onto the topic of AC:B multiplayer. I have only gotten one achievement in multiplayer ("Synchronization Established"), and that was only because of the Introductory program that is easily accessible from the multiplayer main menu. Every time I tried to join a "Wanted" match, it said it was in the process of joining within two or three minutes, but it then seemed to stop connecting me, because it still hadn't loaded ten minutes later. Maybe the fact that I was playing at around 7AM on a Sunday had something to do with it, but maybe it didn't.

IN CONCLUSION
My comment on this article was: "I haven't even had much of a chance to check out the multiplayer because of a connection problem whose origin point is unknown at this time."

My main reason for commenting was: "If anyone knows what the new unlocked dialogue is for Sequence 8, I would really like it if you could send me a private message detailing what is said (like, what e-mails did Lucy, Shaun, and Rebbecca send/receive, or what are the things Desmond asks his allies).
1 year, 3 months ago Nintendo tells developer not to use Wii Speak
Another big barrier is the lack of any Wii 2/Wii HD. Since Sony is introducing the Move, which is basically the "Wii HD" of today, and Microsoft is going for the casual gaming audience with the Kinect (DO NOT BUY IT FOR HARDCORE GAMES: YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED), Reggie's most recent demand pre-Wii-2 (no talks about next-gen until 45 million Wiis sold) means Nintendo is going to continue losing all but the most hardcore fanboys to the 360 and PS3 for amazing-looking multiplayer (and single player) games.

1 year, 3 months ago Nintendo trying to trademark "It's on like Donkey Kong"
Sharkbot, I intensely dislike you for two reasons. The first reason is because your profile pic is a clear forgery (THAT NEVER HAPPENED!). The second reason (and this is the most important) is because you said "First" on a list of comments.

NO SOUP FOR YOU!

About Me
My favorite games (both released and in-development) are Star Wars the Force Unleashed, Infamous, Just Cause 2, the AC series (including AC1 and Brotherhood), LBP, RDR, Reach, SC: Conviction, Enslaved, Dark Void, LA Noire, Singularity, Portal 1 and 2, Battlefield 1943, L4D 2, anything by Tim Schafer (the lead designer at Double Fine games), Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise, Arkham Asylum, MAG, Sly 3, and Spider-man 2, among others (Once a game makes my "Favorites" list, it tends to stay there). I absolutely HATE: the people who say "FIRST" in comments, Achievement whores, hackers/glitchers, people who try to ban video games in general, RRoD, and error E74. Almost any game by Rockstar, Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, or Double Fine gets me excited, and games that really capture my interest when I read even short articles about them get me excited. My typical week-day game day consists of possibly playing half an hour of games in the morning between when I wake up and when I go to work, then a few hours when I get home. Over the week-ends, it is almost 8 straight hours of games, when I don't bring a lot of work home with me.
