uh oh! Australian and German gamers better start praying to the gods of olympus to see this released in their home country! I heard Australians will rally for R18 rating for games in Brisbane, 5th december, so good luck Aussies, you have my support! :)
as of me, I've been cheating on my 360 for a PS3 months ago. The thing is, if you have a decent PC, that leaves you only a handful of true exclusives; Fable2, Gears2, Halo3, what else? Halo3 might be released for PC by the time Windows 9 comes out, PC version of F2 and GoW2 is not impossible either. XBLA games are kickass though!
A lot of awesome exclusives are coming to PS3 (hence my reason to defect). In my opinion, PS3 is a really good secondary console if you mainly play PC Games.
oh, and... SOMEBODY FORGOT TO SHOEHORN OKAMI INTO THIS ARTICLE
I think the combo system is too punishing for beginners (one mistake and pop goes third/half of your bar) but the smaller discrepancies between the best and worst character kinda makes up for it, whereas in SFIV (which you gave too much credit for) most high level matches boils down to ryu vs sagat. All in all its still a great game and 8 is the right score
as someone pointed out before, this and God of War III will be very good reason to buy PS3... *crossing all available fingers hoping for PS3 price cut*
seriously people, that black out band is awesome, I crapped my pants laughing. It's a shame that the vocalist's already smoking marijuana at such an early age. Tsk tsk kids nowadays....
easy guys not all reviewers are our beloved GamesRadar resident staff case in point this one, whose opinion strays too far from most GR frequent visitors I think. After months of day dreaming I finally bought this game. Luvin it, shame I only have 2 controllers.
I think DLCs like this should always be reviewed and if possible put in its own section, we really need the info! oh and you ought to mention bikini costumes as plus point :D
glad to know that a lot of people agree that FF is not an actual RPG. Although FFVII remains my all-time favorite game, slapping the term 'role-playing' on most jrpg's sounds blasphemous, after playing the likes of NWN and Vampire Bloodlines. I call the real genre for jrpg is stats-based story-driven super-long adventure game with extra hair
