It's not the kind of game that needs to facilitate precise aiming, it's as run-and-gun as it gets. There are simply too many enemies on screen at once for zooming to be practical.
woah...this looks sick. I've never really gotten into any mmo's, and this and the old republic both look great. I'll definitely try SWTOR, since I loved both KOTORs, but I'll look at this too, whenever it comes out.
very nice article, but I thought the offensive part of the grenade spam thing was the sarcastic "Ever find yourself walking down the street, when suddenly, you find a grenade at your feet?". That must not be amusing to the troops in Iraq, that shit's serious, people die all the time from roadside bombs and IEDs. I'm usually not prude at ALL on this kind of stuff, but that definitely put up some red flags for me.
I enjoyed the basic mechanics of Crackdown and found the jumping and climbing really addictive, but the shooting mechanics were kinda weak without a cover system, and I hated the mission structure, I could never find out what to do next. If these are fixed, I'd definitely consider this game.
