Or rather, the promise of GamesRadar hilarity overrides my concern for spoilers.

If you guys did weekly installments of this, I would watch it. The idea of spoilers does not really bother me.

Game music of the day: Jurassic Park
Wow. This brings back memories. I was a big fan of the Genesis JP games, but I did get an opportunity to play this a couple times. Wish I'd had more chances, now.

The Top 7… things you didn't realise the PS2 did first
Was actually having a discussion about the disc tray a little while back. I sometimes think that if the PS2 had worked with the same idea of a lid instead of a tray, my console wouldn't have suffered repetitive disc read errors and would still be alive today.

New Halo: Reach commercial is so pretentious we want to gouge out our eyes and rip off our ears
I wouldn't call it pretentious. (Reading Eragon expanded my definition for pretentious.) At least Bungie tries. They may not get it exactly right, but they do try. Besides, Ridgley is right. This ad isn't so much of a stretch for anyone who's read the novels. It was a little weak, though. Why not give Neill Blomkamp another call?

10 reasons a prison game would be amazing
Technically, a prison game has been made. Escape from Butcher Bay. The sequel, Assault on Dark Athena also struck me as something of a prison game. Both were lots of fun. May not be exactly what you are talking about, but Butcher Bay fits a few of the topics mentioned.

The Top 7… Weirdest westerns
Darkwatch was pretty good, but Stranger's Wrath was amazing. Found a copy on the cheap at Best Buy, and it still holds up.

6 months ago Sony no longer friends with reality, wants 'human' AI in ten years. Terminators and Matrix to follow
What I want to know is, am I going to feel guilty shooting NPCs with that level of AI? Are they going to be so realistic I'm going to wonder if they will have realistic families waiting for them to come back to their realistic homes?

Maybe they're right. Maybe we should stop playing video games and start watching countless hours of television like the rest of western civilization. Sitcoms, reality programming, sensationalized news media...that's much healthier, right?

About Me
I've been a gamer my whole life. I'm old enough to remember having to blow into NES cartriges, as well as a time when everyone thought Jurassic Park on the Sega Genesis looked realistic. I love the Halo series, as well as Gears of War, and anything Bethesda Softworks craps out. My gamerscore is godawfully low because 85% of my gaming time is spent in Oblivion. One of my favorite moments is when a friend and I double-whammied a single locust with the Lancer saws in Gears. No screenshot, but I assure you it happened. Also, about 40% of my day is spent daydreaming of Escape from Butcher Bay. It was one of the most perfect games I've ever played. And yes, I actually LIKE the Riddick movies.
