i don't know when i first saw the wow thing right after it happened... i didn't think it was funny at all. Now however, my tastes have changed and i realize that it was dumb of them to do it in a PVP area. i actually have to say You Win! Now Getout infuriates me, i hate feeling like i missed something cool or the best weapon in the game just because i'm efficient. Fuckers... And letting me play through with some of the hawt loot is not the same.

I love it, hilarious, i usually play and let my roommate sit on the mic and be a gobshite, we switch off... i know losers, but its hilarious to us, especially if its a game that one of us doesn't know how to play well...

I have to agree that swimming in vidgames is infact, lame. It asooks, except for in Ecco which was alot of fun but that's just not the same is it.
What about excess ladder climbing? no takers there?

i do hate escort missions as well, especially when the ai person is to stupid to hide in the room but runs all the way back to the starting point if not satisfied with the amount of protection offered. And although Ico is critically acclaimed... can we say giant escort mission of doom?

One last thing i hate that has improved 10x in the past couple of years but still isn't quite right? stormtrooper aim. Great for my enemies wrong for my allies to have.

@theschwartzb yeah same here, i always try to be nice to them because i used to work in retail too(big box bookstore),

the weird thing is as soon as i'm away from my local store people start treating me like i'm a newb, or start following me around the store, it makes me nervous and irritable so i sometimes act like a jerk just to get them to leave me alone.

oh and one of the other things that girls like is switching off... I like gmaing with other people (not as much on live, i wonder why?) but i do enjoy switching off on games, my roommate will play one level or until he dies and then i'll play, some levels i'm great at and some i suck at but it keeps me from being too frustrated and keeps me from being a dick when i know what to do next and its not my turn.

I don't really agree with the fighting game scenario though... get a girl drunk and give her a fighting game where you can win by button mashing and she'll want to do it everytime she's drunk... in fact i turned at least 6 other girls into gamers but putting them up against each other in tekken tag. they'll never admit to being gamers though but for some reason all have consoles now... hmmm

however, even though i would never admit the thought of blowing up humans bothers me, i've realized...i'm not a huge GTA fan, and i can't get into call of duty4 and only play it cause my roommie likes it.. but gears of war2? i can't stop playing maybe you are on to something~

i do love me some sonic but the '06 game was the worst video game i have possibly ever player, and although the premise of sonic the werehog was stupid... It was so fun to make him go fast again. To be able to control him and not have 2 million other anthropomorphic tards in the way was something i've always wanted, no silver, no flying bats or retard cats, just sonic running fast. I was parched for that...

And just so i wouldn't have any seizures they threw in some werehog fun, it wasn't great, but it was fun.

the only thing good about halo; its one of those few games that i don'thave to send my friends home so i can play with them.

On the rockband/guitar hero front, i used to love these games, i loved them because they reminded me of frequency and unlike other music follow the dots games that had been around they had real music (not little japanese girls squeeling to techno) and music i actually liked. They also introduced me to more bands i amy not have given a chance and older bands that i almost missed. But it got old fast. As soon as my friends wasted their money on rockband and forced me (the only one who can carry a tume) to scream songs i didn't know at the mike for 4 hours i was done. I will never enjoy that game again, besides the fact that my friends can't sing as well as they think they can, and now whenever we are at their house what do they want to do? play effin' rockband. Still. But it is a game that the girls love to play as much as the boys and you can dl all kinds of good music so it does bridge that gap.
Also you are the only musician i know who doesn't like to pwn at that game. They all like to get on the drums and play expert to make all us non musicans look bad and tell us to play real insturments so we can be as good as them. And to all of you who think that; If i could afford a guitar, amp, and music lessons i wouldn't have made guitar hero so bloody popular. So you can bite me, or buy me the supplies and i will gladly take guitar lessons so i can pwn your face in the virtual world and in real life

I also agree with josephpooch and soniquev8. After about 10 hours of playing fallout and realising the music and radio was getting annoying i actually used the 360's media share to make my own 23's 30's apocolypse mix. Also i still bust out the old ps2 and play games on it including FF7, 8 and rival schools. One of the best features evere. When i can afford a ps3, i'll do it then too.
